My whole body hurts...help!!

I am almost 35 weeks pregnant and I suffer from migraines really bad. This past week I have had a horrible migraine, really bad cramping, sharp pains in my upper stomach and chest, and I have been sick to my stomach. I called my doctor today to see if he could give me something for the headache and he said no he was not going to help me with my migraines anymore and that I needed to get ahold of a neurologist or go to the ER. Well my neurologist already told me she will not do anything until I have the baby, and the hospital will just call my OB if I go down there and then he will probably tell them not to give me anything for the pain. I have Tylenol #3 and they don't touch my headaches. I do have bronchitis at the moment so I am dealing with a lot. I really feel depressed and I just want to give up. I feel like I have to live in hell until I have my baby because I can't get treated for all the other things that are wrong with me right now. I just don't know what to do. I keep crying and all that is doing is making the headache worse. I feel like my doctor should be more supportive and try and help me but he's not. I really just feel like I am having a nervous breakdown because of everything that is going on, please help me!!

I get headaches almost daily and migraines every once in awhile. Medicine never helped me when I had them before pregnancy. The only thing I can recommend is keep hydrated because sometimes it starts because you dehydrated, also ice pack on my head and neck and laying in a cool dark room with a fan blowing on you. I hope you feel better and i'm sure your baby will come soon.

Yeah, I used to get migraines all the time, and yeah laying down in the dark with either ice or a cold wash cloth over my eyes and sleep were the only things that seem to help. I totally feel for you and hopefully your baby will be arriving soon and then you can get on whatever medication works for you. Just try to rest and keep hydrated. Good luck!

When you're laying in a dark room, like Pandora suggested, try having the scent of green apples around. I know it sounds weird, but my mom used to get bad migrains too, and her doctor suggested that. For some reason it helps her out alittle. Hope it works

Has anyone checked your blood pressure?

Thank you all for responding. My blood pressure has been great throughout my pregnancy and if it gets outta whack I have nose bleeds. I have dealt with the high blood pressure in the past. It's been 9 hours and I have taken the tylenol #3 and phenergan, even my sleeping pill to try and get some rest. I have used ice on my head and neck, I have tried heat, I even tried eattin a piece of chocolate because the doctors told me before that might help....NOTHING is helping me. This headache is getting worse and worse and I don't want to call the doctor back because I feel like I have been calling too much lately, but damnit I am sick. I have done nothing but cry since 2 this afternoon and I know that that is not good for me or Zayla. I am affraid that she is going to get upset or me being so much in pain and all emotional is going to effect her and I don't want that. Ugh I just wish god would listen to me for once I keep prayin that he will let her come right now, but thats not workin. I am just to my wits end!!

I would call the dr then if you can't get relief, maybe something is pressing on a nerve somewhere. Don't worry about bothering them after all it is their job to help you.

well i started gettin extremley bad migranes and my doctor told me that the reason its gettin bad the further you get along in your pregnancy is the more hormones you have going through your body ya they may have stablized and thats why you dont mood swing but thats a big reason why nothing helps you out because of the hormones thats one thing you cant fix until of coarse after birth but i would ask your doctor if he could think about inducing you early because of the migranes and if you feel like he's not there for you if insurance allows I would change physicians because if you feel like this now pregnant and you go into labor think how he will treat you when your screamin from the pain of labor just a thought and some helpful advice
