sarah - i wanted to apologize for what i said earlier ... i posted, and then class was over so i logged off and headed home .. on thedrive i realized how what i said sounded and if i hadn't been in such a rush to read and post a comment to everthing i might have expanded .. or if i'd had time to stay online i may have made myself more clear ... anyways ... i'm sooo sorry if i came across as judging you   ... i'm sure you take advantage of those "memory moments" when you can and if it isn't possible at that time for whatever reason .. you don't .. i.e. when you're in a parking lot filled with moving cars and whatever else!! ... i know there have been times that i've had to stop leah doing whatever she was doing b/c i HAD to ... and there will be oh so many more occasions over the next few years that i have to "ruin her fun" ... but my preggo hormones got the better of me and i could just see me and leah jumping in puddles   i KNOW she'd love it and i could almost see her grinning and hear her laughing    god i'm so sappy i'm half teary eyed thinking about it   ... so once again .. so sorry   i hope i didn't offend  

anyways... now that i have a few more minutes before heading to bed i'll go see what i missed after i posted this afternoon

sarah once again .. so sorry   ... and i don't think you should ever be embarassed by kids meltdowns .. they all have them from time to time and the ONLY people who judge that are people who've never had kids

marrie i had to call poison control twice in as many weeks when leah got mobile .. first she ate a piece of leaf off a poisonous plant (the leaf was brown and shrivelled and she threw it up right away so they just said to 'keep an eye on here'   ) and the second time i turned my back for two seconds and when i looked she had the top off the vaseline jar and was eating it   ... they said as long as she didn't eat too much it'd probably just give her diarrhea   ... i guess the draino in the eye must have turned out ok in the end?? ... it's good thatyou are on the ball with shep! too many mom's don't notice or act soon enough to make any difference .. i really hope that the speech therapy and the goals make a difference   .. very weird that she kept calling him sheldon   .. i hope it's something as simple as a hearing problem   ... voted

I actually screamed out like 'AGGGGGGGH!" at one point   And I took like 40 pics and those were the only ok ones.

Please don't worry! I didn't take any offense. I usually feel bad when I can't let the kids play as much or play with them as much. I don't know, maybe it's b/c every time I try to have a minute to myself they are wanting something so I am always trying to finish that minute I wanted to myself and not being able to focus on them as much then if I had been given my minute in the first place. Does that make sense or am I babbling? Sigh. Big Bang Theory is coming on. Then time for bed. I'll hit you girls up tomorrow! Got all three kids home tomorrow. Wonder what ungodly hour they will be up....

I know what you mean... It's the short stops that are hard. However, I am guessing you won't have to pull it out too much once he realizes he needs to be a big boy and stay with you. Being preggo I have hard time carrying either one of mine. We all hold hands when we walk through the parking lot.

I just realized our due dates are very close... I guess I'll be 6 mos. soon... The u/s tech said they are movin' my due date to April 1... However, since I am not sure they told the baby that, yet, I am not techically due until April 7...

He was fine, but I wasn't sure how much he drank (I poured it in the tub and it didn't go down because it was clogged... I left the room & since he is obsessed with water, he jumped in the tub and licked it up...)

Apparently my dh can only make XX's.. we are having another girl... am pretty bummed about it, but am trying to get past it. Since this is our last & I am 39, it was/is a pretty hard hit for me. I took the fact that I am preggo & expecting a girl out of my profile because every time someone said something to me about expecting another girl, it was like re-opening a wound trying to heal.

I have one bro & one sis. Neither one has kids. My sis & her dh are trying like he** to adopt a girl from China. It doesn't look like my bro. will be having any, but I guess it could happen (not likely, though). So, no boy grandkids for my mom & dad. My dh's sis has a boy & a girl, then our girls. That's pretty much it.
