HELP ME PLEASE!!!

posted 25th Oct '06
I am doing a speech on how being a mom while in school affects your job as a student. I would like to get some fact that don't come from stuffy old men or stuck up old women. If you could please answer these questions with a simple "n" for no or "y" for yes I would greatly appreciate it. Then at the end if you could give me a statement on your opinion on being a mom I would also apprecoate that.
Thank you in advance,
Trish

1. Having a child has made it more difficult for me to concentrate in school.

2. Having a child gives me less time at home to do my homework.

3. My grades have suffered (lowered) since I became a mother.

4. I feel guilt for having to be away from child for extended periods of time so I may go to school.

5. Because I have a child and am still in school I am unable to get the healthy amount of sleep each night. (at least 8 hours)

6. The stress from being both a mother and a student is affecting my relationship with my child.

7. I trust and personally know the person who cares for my child while I am at school.

8. I am unable to work enough hours to adequatly support my child because of having to go to school.

9. I do not plan to attend college since I have a child.

10. My teachers have shown discrimination against me since finding out that I have a child.
