Anal Ease and Teething babies

so my little sister went to a Passion Party or whatever they're called, and came back with some interesting... albeit weird... news about a product called Anal Ease. Intended for use during anal sex, it numbs the area, so the muscles loosen up and everyone has a great time.

well, apparently all of the mothers at the party had a different use for the product... dabbing a tiny bit on the gums of their teething infants! you heard it here first.

So I researched it and it turns out a LOT of mothers use this trick. I'm not sure how i feel about it. The active ingredient is 10% Benzocaine, which is the highest you can get over the counter. So it's actually just a much more concentrated dose of the teething gels we already use.

Talon just started teething (i assume that's why he's being so ornery) and while I don't plan on using this nifty little product, I thought it was interesting and wondered if anyone else had ever used it.

Wow... that just sounds gross   But now I know what to do with my orajel   lol. Eric'd be happy.

hahhaa...i know right....i couldnt imagine telling my soon to be mom friends "oh ya u dont have to buy orajel or teething tablets, just get some booty eaze and it works for everyone!!"

see, i have 0 problems with the name of the product and the original intended use... i just don't know if that much numbing medication would be a good idea so close to my baby's throat.

yup. I just use the baby... works just fine. I'm kind of in the same boat as Ben lol. I have my wisdom teeth coming in   It hurts like hell.
