Baby room finished yet?

I am due the 28th of Jan. and my babies room is not even close to being done I feel so overwhelmed just thinking about it. I mean I have everything set up its just a chaotic mess in there. Anyone else in the same boat as me???

Aidan is 9.5 months and his room still isn't finished... lol, I'm so anal about eveything having the perfect "feel" and the color scheme being correct... I cried when his dresser was slightly darker than his crib and bookshelf... lol

You make me feel so much better you see all these rooms perfectly finished and ready to go and they are like 20 wks. Its not like Cash will be sleeping in there right away anyway but people keep telling me to get on it.

I'm due February 19 and I just bought the crib and dresser 2 days ago. It's not put together yet, and I also ordered the crib bedding online about a week ago. If you don't plan on keeping your baby in their room when you first get home, don't worry about it! My son was in his bassinet next to my bed for the first 2 months.

I was thinking about doing the bassinet thing for a few months before I had my baby actually sleep in thier own crib...does that work out better when they are a newborn?

I wasn;t going to get one for Jack, and broke down and bought one about 2 weeks before he was born~ he like to sleep in it, but I usually had him in bed with me, so it kind of was a waste~ he started to get to big for it around 6 weeks, now he sleeps in the pack n play bassinet, but is now too heavy for that & I have to put him in a crib

I didn't really think about getting one but I think it would be nice to have her sleeping right there by my bed. I saw some really cute ones on line that look nice.

Aidan slept in our room in his bassinet for the first 4 months... we never even got a crib until then...

Absolutely! Especially if you're breastfeeding, the baby is right there and you really don't even need to get up for anything.

This is the one I had for Jack. It had the vibration thing~ which is the best part. I looked at a cheaper one at walmart, but the sides were cardboard, the sides on this one are fabric.

Our son is in our room and I still haven't finished moving everything out of the spare room onto the sleepout so I can start setting up the kiddies room.. my son and daugther will just have to share   but I can't do much until my baby bonus comes through so I can buy the wardrobe and drawers to put everything away in

That's a good price....I was on target.com and most of them were over 100 bucks!

I know tell me about it. scarey isnt it lol......... I still have to buy the damn car seat...... cot/crib, drawers, wardrobe, changing table I am not organised with this baby at all...... I'm like yea I got time and holly shit next I look and she's almost here
