Claudia?

What does everybody think of the name Claudia?

So far it's the first name I've said I liked that my bf really likes too. I guess it means "lame" which kinda blows(well Claude does and Claudia's the feminine version of Claude), but then again my name means "someone who makes clothes" lol.

So her name would be Claudia Cherie St. Pierre. Middle names a definate no matter what her first name is.

does Cherie St. Pierre ryhme? Or am I just saying to myself wrong? I like Claudia, but not with that middle name.

Like I said, thats the middle name no matter what. My SO's mom passed away last year and that was her name. But no it doesn't ryhme, it sounds like sherry.

ETA- Pierre doesn't have an E sound at the end, if thats why you thought it rhymed.

Claudia is a family name on my dad's side. I have an aunt and a cousin with that name

its a cute name for sure. reminds me of all the claude type names in my family and they're not lame at all!

I love that name!! I was actually thinking about that the other day because i ran into a Clyde and his full name was Klaudios.

expect i know a Claudia and we all call her Clamy because we think it sounds like Clamydia (sp)

O/T but I have a close friend named Sheree (pronounced Sher-REE) and I've never seen it elsewhere. She's in her 50's too!! She always gets people pronouncing it "Sherry" and she hates it!!!.

I love the name Claudia...I'm a fan of classic names.
