my name is DEJAH..and i can completely understand how they say it wrong or spell it wrong...complex name..but connor..i mean..come on. outside of family and friends i can understand...but the ones who know how it spelled ...after hearing me talk about it for 4 months you would think it was embedded into their head.

i'll join the club on the mis spelling of names everyone either spells it wrong or pronounces it wrong lol x

Lol yeah, I'm pretty laid back with most things but that's the one thing that drives me up the wall. Everything else I could let roll off my shoulders.

I've gone my whole life having people call me "SHAY-LA" and my name is SHE-IL-A and it's very annoying! lol. sheila........umm the only a is at the end...lmao

i'm a laidback person as well...i don't get irritated very much...
in fact top 5 things that peeve me:
1.people who knock and just walk in when you answer the door i mean ask first 'can i come in' just because i opened the door doesn' tmean you're allowed to come in!

2. slow drivers,people who cut eme off...(i've got a slight case of road rage)

3. when i try to cut the pizza and it doesn't want to cut and the toppings and cheese slide off when you're trying to cut it...UGH!

4, im kind of impatient..thats all i need to say lol

5. when people ask 'is it a boy or a girl?!' especially when he's wearing a blue shirt that says 'CUTEST BOY' or 'ITS A BOY' or just 'BOY'

yeah thats about it i don't really get ticked off at anything else.

It's a good strong boys name-I was going to name him just Alexander Vaughn but my BIL named their son that and my sister knew for years that it was my future childs name. So I stuck Gabriel in front of it-and she is still pissed about it--hmmm, I begged her in the hospital not to use it!! It fits my son better than just alex anyway.

Pretty much the only "thing" I can think of that annoys me is my mom. Oh, and older people who complain about kids and "parents these days"...If they were such perfect parents then the "parents these days" wouldn't be so "messed up" now would they?

Keep correcting them. Medicaid spelled Brookes Name wrong. Instead of 1 middle name she has 2 its Lynn Raye and they spelled it Lynnray So i have been fighting with them to get it changed...They also Call her Brooklynn & thats SOOO NOT her name lol.My name Is Sharlotte and EVERYONE spells it wrong...its always Charlotte or Charlete or Something else...& I correct them EVERYTIME and i dont have a problem telling them.

I don't think it's rude at all. It's your childs NAME and identity. People need to respect that.

So true! Every time my mom bitches about "how I am" I remind her that she's the one that raised me to be like this!
