For Moms that make their own baby food

My daughter is 8 months old and has a milk/soy protein intollerance. I make all of her food and am wondering about biter biscuits. All store bought biscuits have milk or soy in them, so I need to make my own.

What age is appropriate to try these out (she has four teeth)?

What are some good recipes? I use wholesomebabyfood.com for a lot of my food-making advice, but they don't give age recommendations on any of their recipes for biter bicuits.

I don't have an answer to your question sorry. But I do want to say that Bayleigh and I are jealous over the teeth. She still doesn't have any!

Awww that's cute! She's get them soon...enjoy the not-teething while it lasts  !

you could always ask her pedi to be sure but i would say it's okay to give them to her. My daughter's 9 months and only has 2 teeth but i let her have those and she does fine! There really hard so they can't actually bite a chunk off once they drool and suck on them long enough they get mushy...there a little messy but i think you'll be fine...

Oh no she's been teething for a month or so, just no teeth show up!

See that's what I'm thinking. She's not crabby though. She's just drooling and chewing on everything. I guess when she becomes crabby, she'll get the tooth.  

wholesomebabyfood.com has some alternatives to that and eggs and etc... they thought of it all for recipes

When you buy food products nowadays, it's nice because under ingredients, it now says on the bottom:
Contains: milk, soy, peanuts, etc.....

Side Note:
Do you have a management degree? I'm assuming that you need to have a degree in science for your kinda job... I switched majors from environmental science to management (and took as many accounting course as possible, realizing my degree change significantly lowered my chance of getting a job)

lmao I just saw this thread was from Dec..... question to you because my LO has same problem: Did your LO outgrow it? I have been asking around.... heard a baby chiropractor can help it among other things.... but idk....
