I just had one the other day! I paid 160.I was soooooo sad at first because my placenta is in the front and the baby was hiding behind it so we didnt get good images, but after a couple of exercises... he moved and was in clear view. pricey.. but in the end, PRICELESS.. i loved it.

I would say definitely get it done! They're free in Australia but even if I had to pay I would totally do it, they're great to print off and start off your baby's scrapbook or photo album. And it's just super exciting!!

haha i cant really either. but it says your supposed to do it between 24 and 34 weeks. and i was thinking that ill just tell everyone that its what i want for my birthday. and if you split it between like 4 people its not that expensive. and it would be a cool present.

I really wanted one- but we're buying a house the month after baby will be born- and with Christmas and moving etc- I cut it from my budget. Sucks- but not necessary so it had to go.

im definately going to get it done then it will be my second ultrasound. my doctor says that i dont need them because i have a low risk pregnancy orsomething. but ive been really wanting to see her recently.thats good that they worked with you to get the baby in a good position.

yeah... im glad that my birthday is around that time. i just cant see myself spending that much money on something thats soo not necessary when there is so much other stuff that im going to need for her.

Hmmm. I decided not to get one.
Sometimes they have a tendency to make the babies look strange. I don't think I could spend the rest of my pregnancy wondering things like that.

A very good friend of mine is pregnant at the time. She had one done at about 5 months and her son looks like he has no arms.

Eek! That sounds scary. I had one at 19 weeks and it came up really well, although he looked really skinny... so I'm hoping the one at 32 weeks will come up really well. I couldn't stand worrying about that kind of thing...!

My child has a slightly greater risk (than usual) of being born with a cleft lip and/or pallet.

Honestly, its not something I care to ponder on at this point. If its true, its something we will deal with at the time. I can't spend my pregnancy worried over something I can't change.
