When I lost my child, 36wks, my family asked me if I took pictures of her.
At the time, I did not want anything like that. But the hospital did take some for me, although they are not professional by all means, I am very happy that they did this for me. I don't like to look at them a lot but I am glad to know that I do have them when I need them.

I didn't know about them when I lost my first son. My cousin lost his baby in January and a lady from NILMDTS took Brentley's pictures. She was amazing. When I found out that my baby isn't expected to live I contacted the organization and one of their photographers said she would come to the hospital when he is born. Not only that but she took maternity pictures for me and got them to me that same day. Good people.

when i lost my baby boy 2 years ago they came to the hospital and took pictures of my son before he passed away i loved that it was the best thing to have pictures of ur LO i love that organization

I just lost my baby April 24, 2012. I believe this was organization that photographed my baby. They did an amazing job, without them I wouldn't have any memories of my baby just visions of what he was like. Thank you

When I lost my daughter November 2006 (cord death at 34 weeks), NILMDTS came to the hospital and took pictures of us. It was the most touching and wonderful thing ever! Even though we couldn't take our lil baby girl home with us, this organization gave us something to hold onto. The pictures were and still are beautiful and still very much appreciated.

This orginazation took pics of my son whom we lonst 2 1/2 weeks ago. The pictures turned out great. We did not know of them until just after we had lost him. He was born at 34 weeks and only lived 20 hours. The pictures are a great remembrance of him. The nurses in the NICU actually told us about them. I am so glad they did. She got some great shots of my husband, Grayson and I.

This foundation truly was a blessing for me. In March of 2011 my son Brandon 2nd was born 10weeks premature. He had a severe case of hyaline membraine disease and pulmonary hypoplasia. He went to heaven after 18 hours with us.I just wanted to post one of the many pics I was given No words can express how much these pictures mean to my husband and I. I wish I could post all the photos as they are all so beautiful especially the ones of my husband and Brandon 2nd.

My aunts daughter passed 4 days before her due date last week. The hosp had NILMDTS take photos and they are awful! Nothing like I've seen from them in the past. I have since learned that since they are volunteer, they do not screen their photographers. It is so heartbreaking, we will never have that opportunity back :/

They do screen their photographers. I know this for a fact. My cousin lost her baby at 36 weeks and they took beautiful pictures. I am very thankful they took pictures of Aadelynn for the family.

I have a friend whose friend is a photographer for NILMDTS and she said they do not. Regardless, they took awful photos.

I guess each is different I have a friend who it took two years to get accepted to be a photographer.

I am very disappointed, I convinced my family to do it bc I had always seen really good work from them. My aunt did not see or hold her baby bc she was so distraught and now there are no photographs to show her later.

I am using them..they are very kind !

i have had to use NILMDTS and they are such a great organization.. its hard loseing a child and i didnt even no any thing about it. until the hospital told me when my son was dieing.. and that was 3 years ago.. it helped me get through alot.. and now im currently 31 weeks preg, and just found out my daughter has water on her brain and around her heart and im praying to god that i dont have to make that call again =(

Hope that it's ok that I post this in here.. Just wanted to put this out there for all of you who have an Angel. October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month and I currently have a contest for those who wish to share their story. I do understand how painful loss can be, having an Angel of my own, but sometimes it does help to get your story out there and share it with others. I lost my Angel nearly 12 years ago and I can say that time does help, but there is nothing that could ever take the hurt away. Healing is Remembering, so let's honor our Angels by remembering them.

Too Beautiful for this Earth - everyone who participates will be getting a graphic made for their Angel.
