I saw this organization on a news story here where I live, and I think it is a great idea! Watching the story made me tear up. Such amazing people to give their time for others during such a heartbreaking time! My heart goes out to all of you who have, unfortunately, needed their services.

I finally got the strength to actually send an email to a photographer affiliated with NILMDTS today. I'm waiting on the reply, I feel like this is a great step towards dealing, instead of just trying to pretend it's not happening.
On a seminonrelatedsidenote, my mother has also contacted a funeral home who she's been close friends with the family for a long time, I feel like this is a sad, but great step too. I feel like I'm actually accomplishing things, and it's making it easier.

My daughter was born and passed away four days later in November 2010. She had Alobar Holoprosencephaly, diagnosed at our 20 week u/s. I am so greatful we decided to have a photographer from NILMDTS come to the hospital and capture that special time. We'll treasure those photos forever.

I wish they had something like this here where I live cause it would've been nice to have some professional pics of our family with our baby girl for one last time. I lost my little girl at almost 19wks.

We just had our little girl two weeks ago still born. I had thought the idea of pictures of my deceased baby were morbid, my husband disagreed. I let him have his wish, and i couldn't be more thankful. The photographer that came to the hospital is one of the most amazing women I have ever met. She treated my sweet baby girl like the most precious glass, and then she cried with me. She gave me something I could never repay her for. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but I am excitedly waiting to get them.

NILMDTS came and took the pictures of my twins this past week when they passed (at 23 weeks). It was beautiful and sad, but they are the most professional photographers I've ever met and the most compassionate. I would definitely reccommend them for those who've had a loss, as I have. They are truly great people.

When my son was born i had set up with a photographer from NILMDTS. Benji didn't pass away as soon as everybody thought he would though, so i never got the chance to meet my photographer.

When my son was stillborn on September 14th of this year, I had a photographer from NILMDTS (who also happened to be a friend of mine) come and take pictures of him for me. This is a great organization, and i'm so very glad that she was able to come and provide that service for us. Those pictures are something that we will treasure forever since we were never able to bring our precious child home with us!

i used this service when i lost my son two years ago, the woman was so lovely. She cooed over my son and made me feel like he was really here. The pictures were lovely, and she gave us a dvd with them on. I cant do anything else but compliment them to the highest.

My partner and I lost our daughter Jan 4th 2012. I delivered her at 34 weeks, via emergency C-section and I believe that this same organization was the one that took pictures of my daughter. At first I was so caught up in my grief I was annoyed with how cheerful the lady was and how many pictures she took. Now I am just happy to have those pictures of her. I'm awaiting them in the mail and they are one of the few things my girlfriend and I will have to hold onto and look at. We appreciate what they've done for us, and what they do for other people.

This is such a great thing! After the duggers captured their child on film, I wondered if there was a service out there such as this. God bless!
