Had a rough morning. Doing a bit better now. It's like a bad, bad rollercoaster ride.

Yeah this is a good idea posting this so people know. I never knew about it until way after my Trenton passed away and Gunners momma told me about it. THey do have photographers right close to the hospital where Trentonwas at and no one ever mentioned it to me even in the hospital he was at and I am sure they had to be aware of it. It makes me sad to think I could have had beautiful professional pictures done with my angel baby. Atleast I have pictures that family did take allthough my lil man is bruised from head to toe, I need them.!!!!

I wish there was a way to find out if the hospital is aware of it. If not, they need to be. And if they are it is AWFUL that they don't inform people of these services.

I will have to do some digging, but there is a not for profit photo editing service for mommas of angels as well. They will take the pictures you have an retouch the bruising as to make the memory a little softer, as if it were that easy, but it's still a nice thing for them to do. If I figure out what it is I will let yu know.

gunners momma gave me a site where they will do 2 pictures for free and I sent them 2 photos waiting for them back but if you do find it that would be great

Ashley after you told me about it I was half tempted to call them and just ask them if they were aware and ask them why they didnt call someone in for me. I wasnt too impressed with that hospital but it could just be because of my experience. Anyways thanks for the site you did give me, im sure ill be posting the pics somewhere when I get them back.

I can't wait to see them. He is adorable even with the bruising. Gunner was terribly bruised when he was born because he was breech. You really should call them and ask them. If nothing else, if they DON'T know, they will know now. And if they DID know, maybe they would get the hint that it's something they need to utilize.

NILMDTS took damiens photo's that i have posted on my page! They did a wonderful job and I am so thankful that there are people out there who donate their time when a family is in need! At first I was very hesistant to have pictures taken, but was so glad when I did!

YAY!! My application was put on standby til i can get the proper lense's and camera needed. but as soon as i have those she said it was a go!

I am not a member of NILMDTS because I can't be on-call, but I am a professional photographer MORE THAN WILLING to offer this service (free) to anyone who needs it. On a slightly different note, most hospitals DO know of NILMDTS... however, photographers are encouraged to contact local hospitals near them, just in case some of the smaller ones are unaware. I wish everyone who suffers through loss knew of this organization, or photographers like myself who are willing to capture those few precious memores.

now i lay me down to sleepis a wonderful organization.After my daughter was born they came and took such wonderful pics of my angel.I treasure those pics more then anything..if it werent for all the nice photos they took i think i would have even a harder time gettin threw my loss..the pics are amazing keepsakes that i will have forever
