35 weeks and estimated to be 6.11 already!!!

Today I went to my 35 week check up and they said Alaina finally turned head down (yay), but that she is also a BIG baby! Put it this way, 4 weeks ago she was an estimated 3.12 (figuring around 8.4 at 40 weeks), today however she weighed an estimated 6.11 (figuring around 9.3 at 40 weeks). She has gained an estimated 2.15 pounds in 4 weeks and I am freaking out! LOL My other 2 kids only weighed 8.3 and 6.13 and they were both born at 40+ weeks!

Are they going to induce you or anything?

my son was measuring 38 weeks at 34 weeks, turned out fine, they said over 10lbs baby, his weight was 8 pounds 6 oz! I was freaking out too, but im sure she will be normal sized! Hopefully anyway :-) good luck momma

psh thats nothing lol my first son was 9 pound 5!! this baby was weighing 3 pound 6 at 28 weeks!!! but i have GD so thats why hes so big GL x

your going to have abig baby on your hands. but congratz

Oh don't worry to much they are wrong a lot of times. They told me my baby was measuring 6 pounds and 3 weeks later I had him and he only weighed 5pounds 12 ounces.

Thats not big. Evan measured 7 lbs 4 ounces at 36 weeks. He came out at 37 wks 5 days and was 7 lbs 14 oz

my little girl was extimated 6lb at 33 weeks. i had her at 34 weeks and she was 4 lbs 3 ounces

i had GD, but my daughter weighed 6 lbs at 33 weeks, i had her at 34 weeks [exactly] & she weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. so ya never know!

Well my doc always induces me (well he did with my other 2), but that was because I have trouble dialating. With my 2nd he had to strech me to 1 cm and that was real pain, worse than anything else, really!! But idk if he will induce bc she is measuring bog on ultrasound! That was my last u/s, so how would he know if she's getting too big? And that he needed to induce? I guess just bc he's a dr?

Now that I think about it he estimated Logan to weigh around 7.8 and he weighed 6.13, but they are usually only off by about a pound right?

Hang in there and try not to worry too much. They told me my son was already 8+ lbs at 38 weeks when they did the ultrasound. So my doc induced me 10 days early and he came out weighing only 5lbs 12oz. Either way...good luck!

ya, they let my mom go a week LATE, with my brother [cause i was born 8 weeks early only weighing 4 lbs] they said my brother would weigh like only 7,....nope he came out 11 lbs!!!! huge. they had to break his shoulder to get him out. scary...im sure youll be fine!
