What else could I possibly do??

I seriously just have to talk to some one before I really do rip all of my hair out..I know no one can fix my babies sleep problems..but I just have to talk about this..b/c I dont know what else to do except cry
Farah is 5 months old now..we co slept the first 4 months but had to stop b/c her sleep stretches turned from 4 hours, to 2, and then was waking up every 30 minutes to an hour wanting to nurse...from 8pm to 8am
Shes been in her crib for two weeks now..at first she was taking 3 hour stretches..(and to me..I considered that sleeping through the night) but since she went to bed at 8:30 she's woken up every 30 minutes to an hour since, so about 6 or 7 times so far..the ONLY thing that puts her back to sleep is I either have to nurse her or run the vacuum
I have tried E V E R Y T H ING!!! Feeding her a larger amount of BM by bottle, music..no music..cereal..light..no light..sleeping in my bed..bassinet..crib..swing..bed time bath routine..white noise..hotter room..colder room..sleeping on her side..sleeping on her back..dream feeding..smaller naps during the day..pacifier...I have read every website imaginable..and I have talked to her DR
Is there honestly anything else?? ..I am NOT trying to get her to sleep through the night, I accepted along time ago that will never happen..but just two hour stretches would be like heaven to me..

..Well..thanks for reading even if you dont have any suggestions..just any support would be appreciated..

I always put Hayden in his bouncer and put it on the dryer and turned it on. He NEVER slept...but when I tried that it worked amazingly well. Also put him in the bathroom in his bouncer with the water running. And cosleeping. I did that. And just left my shirt off so he could nurse as he wanted.

Does he sleep better now as he has gotten a little older? I loved co sleeping and I didnt mind her nursing every hour..it was just that she moved around so much and always found a way to kick me
I have tried really wearing her out before bedtime with the bouncer...but no luck yet

But thank you...I know its gotta get better one day

can you swaddle her?...My daughter will sleep for a least two hours during the day when she's up close to me with body heat and everything, but when I try to put her in the bassinet she will only sleep a half an hour...I swaddled her and she's sleeping...perhaps she's just waking herself up with her own movements...that might sound silly, but I feel for your situation because it really seems as though you're trying everything.   Does she like the bouncy seat?

She did like her bouncy seat..well hers actually rocked instead of bounced..she slept in their for a good 3 months...but she still wasn't sleeping in their
You know...swaddeling is one thing I actually have not tried...so I will give that one a shot tomorrow night..
I thank God though that I am a really optomistic person though...I feel so stupid..but every morning I wake up I just say "Its okay! I think tonight will be better!"...but it never is...lol

omg my son is the exact same lately! i dont know what it is, its driving me freakin crazy. it makes me so mad because he has ALWAYS been suuuch a good sleeper.
Is she sick? i think thats what it was for hayden (im hoping). i was sick for a while and he caught a few of the symptoms, then got his shots. .
im really hoping this is just a stage. hes not quite as bad as your girl, but last night he woke every hour- hour.5 . . and its like he doesnt even really want to eat, but hes fussing fussing and just wants the bottle in his mouth.
hes been asleep for 2 hours already (the first strech is always the longest) so im hoping tonight is not like last night.
does she sleep well during the day? for naps

Well thank you!
I know the only way to get through this is just by taking it one day at a time...its just so hard to keep your head up when you see no light at the end of the tunnel...but I know she cant sleep this way forever...so I guess that gives me hope....or can she?

no mama that's a great thing to do because that's probably keeping you sane at this point...try the swaddle and see if that works, I hope little Farah cooperates

no. she will eventually get better. i promise. i was the SAME way with hayden. i used to stay awake and cry because i knew he'd be up again soon. sometimes i'd let him just fuss for a few so i'd get a little shut eye. but i was never good at CIO. i'm too soft for that.

Well I really hope your son goes back to sleeping the way he was!! Especially if he was already a good sleeper!
She doesn't act sick or anything..I think one thing I am doing wrong though..is that I have never tried to let her fall asleep on her own..so when she does wake up she needs me to put her back to sleep...bad bad I know..I gotta work on that
And for naps she normally takes 2 one hour naps

...ugh..well either way...I atleast feel better now having talked to someone and getting it off my chest..

Yah I considered CIO..but I am just not there yet...however her DR told me to wait atleast a few minutes b/c sometimes babies will just fall back asleep..so I am not rushing in there like I used to anymore..and a few times her crying was just a false alarm

And I am happy to hear you say that it will one day change!! That seriously made me feel like I might be able to relax enough to fall asleep sometime tonight still

we both have haydens<33
how long exactly did he sleep at 5 months? i read that 'sleeping through the night' is 5-6 hours. so when people asked me if my son did (before) i always said no, but he would sleep that long and usually wake up once. then be up at 8. so he used to go 8-8. i hope he goes back to that!!! everyones telling me theres no hope, and he'll sleep bad like this forever probably. i just wont believe it.

I know this isn't from a reilable source, but my neighbor has three girls and, she says with all of them, between 4-5 months, they hit a growth spurt and slept less/ate more, and became extremely irritable. maybeee, just maybe Farah is going through the same thing too?
