As the new year commences nearly all of the top names are show-casing their newest jogging strollers and cutting prices on their older models (think BOB, Dreamer, and Baby-Jogger). Unfortunately, baby-gaga won't review these strollers until a larger consumer-base of information exists.

That said, we DO have plenty of info on last year's most popular models and the most popular joggers all around-- see http://strollers.baby-gaga.com/reviews/jogging-strollers.php.

If you're in the market for a jogging stroller for the first time, I'd recommend browsing through our stroller guide as well: http://strollers.baby-gaga.com/jogging-strollers.php

Good luck in your quest for a wonderful jogging stroller!

I'm almost ready to go for the BOB SUS. I'm a semi-serious runner (about 3k a day) and I want to take my son Matthew on runs with me. He's a big boy for his age.

Just wanted to check in see if anyone knows if it's possible to get the same quality for a little less dough? I like the Kelty too, but seems verrry spendy.

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to look around. I have five wonderful rambunctious children, of which two are still in their strolling years. I've decided that the new year means I need to finally lose those 20 pounds of mom-fat.

So I'm looking for a double jogging stroller as well. I don't think I'm looking for any thing top-of-the-line b/c I just want to walk outdoors with the kids. I haven't really done much research because I haven't had a lot of time.

Any advice of input from anyone would be great!

Thanks.

TO JIMBO:
If you're a serious runner: your best quality for dollars name brand is Dreamer, they have a variety of excellent models out there. Kelty will accomodate taller kids quite effectively. But if you're insistent on saving $$$ InStep is mid-range to lower quality. Keep in mind that the end of the year is an excellent time to find deals on higher end brands.

I'd recommend cruising our shops for the BOB strollers-- currently you can pick it up for a little less than $300... not bad, but a bit tough if you're strapped for cash. It's a nice option. I'd also recommend you check out Dreamer's strollers http://strollers.baby-gaga.com/reviews/dreamer-strollers.php

TO JENNY:
Check out InStep if you're in the market for lower cost all-terrain jogger that isn't necessarily going to be used for jogging. You can get the Ultra Aluminum for just under $200.

Good luck to you both in your quest for a good jogger!

I was in the bike shop in my town today and I saw how much BOBs are now. Like $350. And I think it's totally worth it. But wouldn't it be awesome to have a jogger-type stroller that would actually fold into a car? I would buy that one for sure. Does anyone have any idea about a model that fits these specs:

Under $400
High quality nylon/other fabric,
3 wheels (i.e., a jogger)
Folds to fit in average-size trunk
Metal is high-carbon or some comparable quality lightweight material

I know this thread is dead, but I'm hoping to revive it long enough for someone to recommend something
 please!
