Great birth story and pics.  I especially liked the part of your husbands excitement while you were taking a shower and your kiss.  It's like a movie    My hubs isn't in to the pregnancy (at all), and I wish he had been.  You're a very lucky woman and have two very beautiful girls. Congratulations!!

Another question... how do you get rid of the birthing pool water?  Just curious.

We tried to siphon the birth tub water out with the hose into the bathtub, but it didnt want to drain, so Jay scooped most of it with a 5 gallon bucket.
There was a plastic liner in it, so once it was almost empty, he just pulled it out and dumped it in the bathtub, and threw the liner away in a trash bag.

Wow you have an amazin birth story. Congratulations you have two beautiful girls! I always wanted a natural birth but I have to have c sections. You are so lucky.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and the video too. It really really helped me feel more confident. I'm planning a waterbirth at home and this will be my first child so I had no idea what to really expect, but now I have a much better idea!
