Usually when I wake up in the morning, and then I'm sore for several days after. Stretching my calves before I go to bed (or do a lot of walking around) helps a little. Otherwise.. good luck!

[snip!] ... just another thing of pregnancy, I used to get them so bad with my first I was scared to go to bed and stretch in the morning”And it's like your foot gets "stuck" in the pointed position, and it's so hard to pull it back!!! It usually happens to me in the middle of the night....
