birth control???

I was told by my friend that you dont gain weight on birth control is that true?

Depends on what Bc you're on. I gained like 70lbs in 4yrs on Depo

It all depends on the BC. Everything effects everyone different.

i have used the pill and the implanon and i gained weight on both but it was only like 2 or 3 kg

It can be a side effect but then again I dont think theres a BC out there where weight gain cant be a side effect. It's honestly all how that particular type of BC reacts with your body. I havent heard alot of complaints about gaining weight with Mirena though.
