They haven't asked me that. No they haven't mentioned a hysterectomy. I can have a full term baby like my first but it was very hard to get there. My last baby was born at 32 weeks. I'm not having anymore.

I have PCOS, and I have beautiful children   the doc told me it would be nearly impossible to have babies. I went on clomid and metformin for my first and in 5 months I was pregnant. my second I took metformin my whole pregnancy and both came out perfect. it takes time, just keep trying and dont give up.

So in a different thread the poster said that the Metformin could be the cause of my weight gain and inability to lose weight. Is this true?

no, it helps you lose wieght. I lost alot of wieght during my 2nd pregnancy

I've never heard it before but it could be possible. Like if your body does the opposite what it should do on metformin. It's not impossible. They said metformin wasn't the problem with my wacky cycle but it's kinda funny how now that it's out of my system I not only got a positive opk but actually ovulated when the metformin was supposed to make me ovulate but caused me not to. I'd talk to the doctor if you can get any kind answers.

I got my husband some fertility blend for men yesterday. I'm gonna do one more month of the opks to see if my left ovary is producing and spitting out the eggs too. This cycle it was my right one so hopefully my left one works good too. Hoping to see positive on the opks again next cycle. If not then it's fertility blend for me too. If nothing happens by February then I'll make the appointment for me and him to get our blood work and his semen analysis done.

Thanks and good luck to you also. I'm definitely not feeling hopeful for this month. I think she's gonna come with a vengeance in a few days. No signs that I'd be preggo either so I think I missed it. Also my cervix was low and firm this morning.

Im going in soon for PCOS testing, did you call ahead and tell them you would like to discuss it or just bring it up at the doctor? I had it brought up to me at a dermatologist appointment over a year ago.... facial hair acne oily skin she wanted me to take meds but I was uncomfortable doing so because I didn't do research and hadn't heard of it before... what should I expect testing wise? I already have factor V lieden so Im afraid of having both.

Mine got brought up to me when I went in for my pre-surgery u/s for the cyst on my ovary. The doc said I more than likely have it because of the cyst, some facial hair, and my hair gets oily fast or it just may be I'm using the wrong shampoo and conditioner. I also have trouble losing weight. I got put on the metformin to help me lose weight and I ended up not ovulating from it. I had all my hormone levels checked and they all came back normal even the testosterone levels which they say causes the excess facial hair. So what they will probably do is your hormone levels. They may do an u/s to see if you have any cysts or anything to help them make a better diagnosis.
