UPDATE: I finally got a positive for ovulation on the 18th and ovulated yesterday on my own I hope. I had all the signs of it too. Right sided ovarian pain, very stretchy CM, and a very bright test line on my opk. I can almost tell when the egg popped out because the pain lessened considerably. Now I'm in my 2ww which I'm not looking forward to since I know AF is on her way. I'm not feeling hopeful this cycle. As far as the PCOS thing goes. Who knows with me. This last period leading up to my ovulation was 11 days late. It finally came on the 1st. So I'm hoping my doc still does the test to see if I actually ovulated or not. I go on the 27th.

I'd like to join in.

I'm Bee and my husband and I are trying to conceive my first and his second. We're waiting to start Femara in December after 4 unsuccessful Clomid rounds most at 50 mg and one at 100. Two cycles of Clomid were anovulatory.

I don't have periods or ovulate on my own. Acanthosis Nigricans has been with me since the 7th grade. My hirsutism didn't start until I was 19 years old which is when my periods completely disappeared and I'm certain I was ovulating up until then as well.

We're currently under the care of a weight friendly RE. My CD 3 blood work came back perfect last month. I'm finally on 1000mg of Metformin. That about sums me up.

GL Bee and I hope this treatment gives you your BFP!!! We all know how stressful it can be to have issues some of which have not been discovered yet. I'm still trying to find out if I have PCOS or not. One doc says yes and two say no. Go figure. I was on Metformin because I thought I wasn't ovulating. Turns out I must have been and didn't know it and taking the metformin threw my cycle off so bad it caused me not to ovulate and be 11 days late for my period. I stopped taking it and this month I finally got a nice strong ovulation. I hope it didn't cause another cyst to form though. That is how I got my last one. I ovulated and the cyst never went away.

Getting diagnosed with PCOS can be such a hassle!!!! It took 2 years of wondering and endless doctors for me to finally find a RE who ran proper testing and blood work to diagnose me. I went to a free clinic in 2009 and was told I might have PCOS, but there's nothing that can be done and to get on BC pills the rest of my life. The Nurse Practitioner I saw at that clinic even insinuated that I could somehow conceive on BC pills...ummm...yea.

The health care system in this country is such a joke which is why so many women have PCOS and either don't know or can't get proper treatment.

Metformin is a tricky drug. It can mess you up for a long time while your body adjusts to it. My RE told me point blank that it will take my body at least 3 months for the side effects to lessen and she was correct.

I'm glad you got your strong O and to be honest when you're TTC that's all that matters.

So now you're in the TWW, correct? Good luck and baby dust.

Yes I'm actually 4dpo right now. I O'd on the 19th if I go by the pain I was having then it suddenly lessening which would indicate the egg releasing. So I'm hoping. We BD'd like 2 days before I O'd and then again the morning before I O'd and the night I O'd so we did a lot of bding. We are just not sure if my hubby's sperm has a high enough quantity to be able to withstand the constant BDing. We have to get him checked but we have to pay so much to do it. It'll cost about 250 for him to get a sperm count, testosterone level, and quality I think. I could be wrong and it's 250 just for the testosterone. It's friggin expensive and my insurance at work sucks. It doesn't cover reproductive health.

I am NOT TTCing but I have been pregnant three times with one live baby. I have been diagnosed with PCOS after my first baby was born and passed away. At age 18. I've been on Metformin and birth control to control the PCOS. However my doctor now doesn't have me on birth control.

I haven't had a period since June of this year. The doc won't put me on anything to change this. Won't give me Provera or anything. My blood tests show I'm on a level as someone who is in menopause. I'm insulin resistant as well.

I've gained 40 pounds since April due to medicines and PCOS. I'm extremely frustrated right now

So the doc will not keep you on metformin at all? Is this your ob doc or just a regular doctor you see when ur sick? I got metformin from my regular doctor when I thought I wasn't ovulating and had trouble losing weight. She put me on it no questions asked. If you have to go to another doctor I'd say do it. He/she doesn't realize your frustration with this situation.

My psychiatrist while I was in the hospital gave it to me. I'm still on it. But not birth control. It's my OB

I would definitely seek a second opinion. If the metformin is not working you may have to go on something else along with it like Clomid or something to help you out. I'd change doctors because the longer you wait when you start ttc it'll be harder on you. I hope you can get some relief soon cuz i know the times my period was late by days I felt aweful. My uterus felt so heavy like it wanted to bust.

I've thought about going back to the one who delivered my first. I mean when my mom went through a time where she didn't have a period for months she had to get a D&C. This is the second time this has happened. The longest it has been is a year and a half without a period. I mean I know my bloodwork shows I'm not ovulating and in menopause. Which is scary considering I'm 22

Then I don't understand why the hell your damn ob won't do anything for you. They are supposed to be there to help you. They should see that a 22 year old should not be going through menopause. Yea it's time for a second opinion. When I went to the charity hospital where I live cuz of my cyst due to lack of insurance they did my surgery and to be honest I couldn't have found a better doctor than Dr. Duplantis. She is awesome. And to think she works for way less than some of the regular obs around. They don't do maturnity unfortunately and it sucks. But she is great with me. She is willing to find out everything she can to help me get pregnant again and get my body on track. I just hope this ovulation marks the first ovulation of my body going back to normal. I'm tired of my body playing tricks on me.

That was another thing the doctor asked me. If I had pain when I'm on my period or any other time. I told him the only time I feel discomfort is when my period is about to start because my uterus is full. It's hard to explain the feeling but after it starts I don't have pain unless I'm ovulating. But I am still feeling my ovary. I hope when I tuesday she can find out for me if I have another cyst. I just hope not. I've come this far and to think about having to go on BC to get rid of it is depressing. I think I'm out this month though. I'm already feeling the changes in my uterine area. You know how you get the pms symptoms sometimes. That's how I feel right now. I'm due for AF on the 30th or the 1st I think. Somewhere in that area. With my period being wacky last month who knows. I just hope it continues to follow one pattern. I also hope someone can do something for you with this. You should not have to be in pain all the time. Did they ever talk to you about a hysterectomy? A friend of my cousin has PCOS and endometriosis and she said something about if she doesn't become pregnant in about 5 months they're gonna go ahead and do it because she has it so bad that it's almost impossible for her to even get pregnant much less carry a baby to term.

HI GUYS I GOT MY READING BACK AND IM SOOO HAPPY!!!

what she said...

Hi Kourtney,

Thanks for being patient with me while I got back to your reading. here is what I am seeing for you.

BOY _ JAN so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in

When ti comes to your son, what they are showing is someone who is really interested in wrestling. I think that you will find him to be the type of person who seems to be able to get things going, is always wrestling in some way at every party. I am seeing him hand wrestling, thumb wrestling and regular wrestling. He is definitely a jock.

I think that you will find him to take matters into his own hands. Is someone who believes that people need to be honest. Is always expecting people to be treated fairly and really does get upset/mad when it does not work out that way. He is not a bully and really stands up for the underdog. Pushing hard to ensure that everyone is going to do what is right.

He is good with getting people together, the type that is always quick to suggest something for everyone to do and because he is hilarious and a good person, people enjoy being around him.

They are showing him being strong. Not just mentally but physically as well. I do get the sense that during his teens, he is going to get involved in this youth group. Often being a bit of a mentor for the younger kids. Often teaching them wrestling and giving them a safe place to go.

When ti comes to marriage I am seeing him closer to 26. They will have two boys of their own.

GIRL _ OCTOBER so this is either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in.

Your daughter is always about things being visually appealing. Is always moving things around the house and making it look better. She loves the color purple and certainly loves a little bling. Always loving silver jewellery and is often going to choose clothes that she feels comfortable in.

They are showing her as someone who is happy, always ready to go in whatever direction it takes her life. She just seems to be thankful for what she is given and is always going to be a happy and positive attitude.

I am seeing her always going to keep her hair pulled back away from her face. They are showing her having very beautiful eyes and this is something that everyone seems to notice first about her.

I am seeing her as someone who is always going to be able to give it her all. Always the one that is going to encourage people to get along, but is certainly not going to allow people to affect her in a negative way. She is always about expressing herself in a positive and happy manner.

When ti comes to career paths, they are showing her linked to working in graphic design.

When ti comes to marriage I am seeing her closer to 26. They will have two girls and one boy of their own.

In regards to your periods, I think that you might find that its directly affected to your weight and not necessarily a PCOS diagnosis. I think that if you were able to loose a little bit, that you will notice that your periods come like clockwork

i hear so much good stuff about her and i even saw a lot of peoples readings actually come true! im hoping mine is true because with the oct being a candidate for conceiving my baby is really puttin me on the edge of my chair cause im totally suspecting i conceived in oct...i just have yet to test cause i said im going to wait....im sooo happy to see this reading
