I have a while I don't update here how is everyone? AF is way past overdue and I'm pulling out my hair here!! I POASed this weekend and BFN! which I'm glad.. if I got pregnant on my won ( unliekly) the egg would be bad.. ending in m/c.. blah so I DEF WANT AF to come so I can start my IUI cycle & meds.
Today I went in for my blood work this AM.. they said they are doing a Beta ( to confirm or rule our pregnancy) and something else forgot what... results should be in by tomorrow.. if it's ok to go I get Provera to start my period!
Can't WAIT!
Hopefully I get this IUI cycle started ASAP!!!!

Yesterday I went to the ER for pain in my side and found out I had a ruptured cyst. They took my blood while I was there and my HCG level was 82, so I am pregnant! Because of my blood clotting disorder I was told that as soon as I got pregnant I would need to start Lovenox shots to keep from getting blood clots that will kill the baby. So told I went to my OB and she gave me a urine pregnancy test and it was positive I got my prescription for the shots and she showed me how to do them. I didn't actually give myself the shot though so she said I can come in tomorrow and the physicians assistant will help me out with it. I also have an appointment for my first ultrasound next friday to determine my due date I am so excited, although the giving myself shots in the stomach every day will probably take some getting used to.

Congrats on the pregnancy. Do you have lupus anticoagulant syndrome? It is a blood clotting disorder. I have it and am on a baby aspirin everyday and when we get pregnant I will have to do the Lovenox shots as well. My doctor said that I would have to get a lot of ultrasounds and eventually fetal stress test 2-3 times a week. Sounds like fun, but it is all worth it. I hope all goes well for you. An congrats again on the pregnancy.

Hi ladies i was just wondering if any of you think i may have PCOs? I had a baby in Dec had normal periods for 2 months then i had spotting for the next one then nothing went to my OBGYN she gave me pills to get my period back to normal well it worked for that month i haven't had a period since September i have been tested for everything she has no idea whats going on with me! She said she tested me for PCOS but idk i know something is wrong =(

hey guys... went to the doc today, and he is concerned about me possibly having PCOS. i have a history of cysts, hair is falling out like crazy (even though i have a TON of hair, so it's not really noticeable... but i can pull it out in HANDFULS!) dandruff, unexplained weight gain, and irregular periods.

so... i'm really hoping for the best. i've read that it can cause issues with infertility.

Hi there! I'm Nette and I have been with baby-gaga since 2007... I've been diagnosed with PCOS in 2007...been married since 2004 and started trying to conceive in 2005, thought maybe it will just happen, but it didn't. went to the OBGYN and had trans V done and found out both ovaries are polycystic...Had taken Metformin for 6 months...still period is irregular...had another trans V last year 2008 and found out that my right ovary is no longer polycystic, just the left..good news!!! I was placed on Diane 35 BC pills for 5 months and got my period every month and stopped taking it...had a period on my own for two months last July and August and then it stopped again...Haven't started clomid yet but will go back to the doctor for medications for the treatment...I heard a lot of good things with clomid and hopefully we would get pregnant early next year....I liked this support website because on those times that I thought, maybe I am pregnant, a lot of people really showed support...I hope to keep you updated...by the way an SGPT of 31.2 is okay or not? I just wanted to make sure if this is low or high...thanks!!

It is extremely possible. It's like70% of all woman have it. But only the bloodwork would tell for sure.

When i started the metformin after being diagnosed in 2003 ... it took literally months to even get my periods. I finally started getting them on my own (well with just metformin no provera) in 2004 late. They finally added advandia to my metformin and that gave me 28 day cycles. I finally became pregnant in 2005. I miscarried about 5 weeks along. I had to wait he said best if I waited at least 4 months to allow my body to heal. I had to restart advandia and provera. It was not until 2007 I got pregnant again. She is now 20 mts. on the 8th.

I am wondering how they figure your ovary is now NOT PCOS? There is no cure for PCOS and it does NOT just go away. Are they meaning because the cysts are gone? Because those come back. Believe me I know. I have been batteling this for nearly 23 years now.
