thank you so muh for your response! I checked and there is no airbag on the front passenger side, so I think in the future if he ever needs to be driven by her again, I will put him in the front with the booster and seat pushed back as far as it will go! thanks again, hun!

Andie's fantastic   If only I could get my son's father (and a few of my cousins) to listen to half the info I learned from you, my son and my lil cousins would be safer little people   Nico's father is still trying to FF when he takes him. I have forwarded him videos and links and told him about the height issue with the carseat and he still says "He is fine to FF"....UGH, If only I could do something about that!!

It really stinks he won't listen to you.   Especially because the seat states 34" to FF - basically FF before then is breaking the law, because most states laws say you have to use the seat properly. At least he is RF with you and that's most of the time. Have you sent your cousins the video from Joel's Journey?

I have showed them Joel's video and they are set their kids are fine in a booster. I can't force them, I can only try to educate them and try to get them to think how they will feel if God forbid does something happen.
As for Nico's dad, he is always right, so he thinks. I will not let him take the baby now until he is 34". If he is going to go against my wishes after Nico is tall enough to FF, there will be nothing I can do at that time. Until then, he is not going to put my son at a greater risk by FF when the seat is clearly marked as unsafe. For now, he has no court ordered visitation so I can limit it as I wish if he is putting him in danger. If he files and we go to court before Nico is 34", I will cross that bridge when it comes.

It sucks, but all you can do is give the info when it's not your kid.  

You are doing such a great job with Nico. It's great to see how dedicated you are to keeping him safe.

Thanks Andie   I try my hardest every day to make sure he is as safe as possible. But I in no way keep him in a bubble. I let him explore and climb. And when he falls, I let him come to me if he needs comforted, unless of course its a bad fall...lol He's a boy and will get owies. But when it comes to issues like the carseat, and other dumb stuff his father does, I will put that bubble around him

I'm not familiar with the F-150, but I can find out the information for you. Is it a half cab or full cab? What year?
