Quoting Teagan's Mommy*OKGFB*:" yea it does not move that for sure i know so it must be ok then. i knew that belt looked familiar. ... [snip!] ... even more to keep it from moving at all , that is safe as well right? thanks alot guys i'm feeling better about all this now!"Yes, that's right. So glad we could help.
Quoting Teagan's Mommy*OKGFB*:" im back lmao! i'm trying to find info online about the sunshine carseat.. the radian sunshine. im worrying ... [snip!] ... a higher height limit for rear facing ? i cant find the height limit online only the weight limit which i know is 45 lbs rfing."The Radian and the Complete Air's shells are almost the same if I remember right. Generally, a RF seat will be outgrown RF by height where there is less than 1" of hard shell above you child's head, shown here:
Quoting Teagan's Mommy*OKGFB*:" However, the Complete Air states in the manual that the seat is outgrown RF when the head is even with ... [snip!] ... so does that mean it would be like 42 inches ? i was just reading the thing on the seat it says 40 inches. i lost my manual"It would be however tall your child is. Height is such a grey area because some kids carry their height in their torso, some in the legs. Kids with longer torsos will outgrow seats faster than kids that are the same height with longer legs.

Quoting Teagan's Mommy*OKGFB*:" ah this is all so confusing lol. i remember when i was super young like 18 babsitting a little boy the ... [snip!] ... ff and was about my sons age probably even younger now since it's my baby i researched everything and it's so much harder !"Yes, there is a lot of stuff to this now. I didn't know anything with my oldest and just followed what the carseat box said, like lots of other parents. I did have the seat installed tightly and harness tight because it said it in the manual, but I definitely went by bare minimums until he was about 5. Then I started researching this stuff and put him back in the harness until he was 7. I'm very glad that I didn't have to learn the hard way!

Quoting Philly *OKGFB*:" in my car...a forester....he didn't becuase it had to be sitting almost straight....when it was behind my drivers side cause i put the newbie in the middle."
Quoting Teagan's Mommy*OKGFB*:" ah i see. i think i'm going to go with what andie mentioned and get a radian sunshine when we can afford ... [snip!] ... we have , well T being 2 i mean not me lol. i have him in the middle lordy i hope we dont get a little surprise before then !"
Quoting Philly *OKGFB*:" mine was 2.5 years....how old is yours now..cause height growth will slow down "
