bugaboo or bertini

Okay, not much feedback on my Bertini M5 vs. Infinity/Rock Star question. I don't think there's much information out there about the latter two (new this year, right?) So, now I'm wondering how the M5 and any of the Bugaboos compare. I know the M5 is quite a bit heavier and folds more compactly, but is there really a $600 difference? I can't find the M5 locally, so I would have to purchase online, but the Bugaboo is everywhere so I've definitely been able to try those out. I am hoping to use the stroller as an all-purpose kind of thing (but not jogging).
Thanks for any insight!

It's debatable whether the Bugaboo is worth the extra $$$, as the M5 is a top-of-the-line stroller whose main flaw is its weight-- but it's so solid and luxurious for baby and it has a patented and award-winning steering mechanism... so this stroller can easily compete in the "most maneuverable" category.
Really, the M5 is a top-notch stroller-- but a lot of American parents push for the ultra light weight as we're a nation of car-drivers, which means we're always lifting our strollers in and out of a vehicle-- if you don't have to lift the stroller and have space (like in a garage) to store the M5, there's no doubt it's up there at the top of the stroller heap.
If you've got the inkling and really must have the Bugaboo, it is a great stroller as well-- but it's overpriced in my opinion and the Bertini name is on the same level in terms of quality, innovation, and overall luxury, so I don't know that the extra $$$ is anything other than very clever marketing on the part of Bugaboo.

I "test drove" the Bertini Shuttle a few weeks ago, and I have to say it is a very high quality stroller. The steering is like nothing I have seen before, I was seriously blown away by it! And it seems sturdy enough to push over any kind of terrain. My advice to you is to look into the TS models, rather than the M5 models because looking at the two, I felt that the quality of the fabric was WAY better on the TS.
I am very picky and I couldn't find anything I didn't like about the Shuttle, it has all kinds of cool features. My favorite was the velcro pocket in the hood and the zippered compartment in the basket underneath (great for your wallet or purse!). The wheels are pretty big though, and they stick out on the sides, so you do need to be careful not to run into doorways and such. It is also very heavy, which is not an issue for me, but if you are very petite it is something to consider.
Hope this helps!
