Anyone getting ready for Christmas yet??

I just love Christmas time! I really want to decorate and put up my tree already, I know I still have a long time until Christmas is here, but we are going home (Ohio) for Christmas and I want to enjoy the decorations as long as I can. My mom always told me that it is bad luck to put the tree up before Thanksgiving..lol. Does anyone else go by this? Is there anyone that is going ahead and getting a head start on decorating?

Alot of people around here are preparing but I think im gonna wait until Thankgiving ; )

I'm really excited about Christmas this year because it means I'm so close to having my babygirl! lol

We will probably not put ours up until a week or two before christmas purely because i would say its too early now but baby is due soon so i wont be able or want to do it right after baby arrives sooo yeah...

Havent stared decorating yet....but am going shopping this weekend...thanks to K-Mart and lay-a-way....hehe

I always put it up the day after Thanksgiving, after I get home fromhaving old ladies beat me with their purses, fighting over toys at the black Friday sales lol  .

Thank goodness I'm not the only one itchin' to get the tree out!   I'm waiting til the day after Thanksgiving just because "Im supposed to". Booooo, to Christmas being so far away.

ME TOO!! I asked my husband last night if I could since we won't be home for thanksgiving or christmas, plus we have a cruise this month... there's just not enough time to enjoy it all! If my husband goes to sleep early tonight I might just throw up my christmas tree and some lights....

I know, I thought I would take advantage of that too!!

I think it would be good for us to put it up after Thanksgiving because my husband will still be off work on paternity leave. He can take the two out to pick the tree and leave me and the little one behind.

ive always wanted my own christmas tree, but because im so far from my parents, i usually go up a few weeks, to a month before and spend time witht hem, so i dont get to decorate my own house  
i cant wait till we move and we can start our own real christmas traditions.

I love X-Mas!! I want to start decorating now!!! This is my fiance and I's first apartment and I am itching to get a tree and out it up... But i am picky and havent found the perfect tree yet... I already put my dog's X-Mas stocking up, but thats all. I think you should decorate whenever you feel like it...!!
