Squirting Milk

Just curious, I 2 days shy of 38 weeks and I can squirt milk out of my breasts like crazy, Can anyone else do this, and how far along are you? Maybe it's just wishful thinking but I'm hoping it mean labor is right around the corner.

Your lucky, I wish my milk came like that,lol. It could be labor soon or not, it does not really determine it, sorry, baby will come when ready. But sounds like baby will have plenty of milk ready  You could start pumping and that could cause early labor.

wow, mine only has a few drops nothing close to squirting lol

I'm 34 weeks and I don't have any milk in there yet, I thought you didn't get it until a few days after the baby was born. I guess I was wrong.

well I just recently starting being able to squirt it so don't get too discouraged. Maybe it also has to do with the fact that I breastfed my other daughter for a couple of months. Who knows?

err... any baby that can go a few days without milk is one hell of a super baby! Lol I'm not picking on you, that was just kinda funny to read.

I'm 29 weeks tomorrow and I have colostrum leaking.

Its rather funny, I had my nipples pierced for about 3 years and took them out a while back.. and when I "squirt" it looks like a sprinkler.. My SO calls me "Slimer"

trust me at 26 weeks it is inconvenient it happens when the hot water from the shower hits them and i leak bad at night and it hurts to wear my bra at night to sleep in

You're not alone.. I absolutely can't go to bed without a padded bra on.. or else. Lol I've had the same issue for the last few months, too.

I am 29 weeks now but have had milk for about 6-8 weeks and this is my first pregnancy everyone just tells me i am a good canidate for breast feeding!

I nursed my daughter and I was leaking early too. I made more milk than i knew what to do with. I would nurse her for a half hour each side and still pump anywhere from 4 to six ounces per side after we finished nursing for that time.
