anyone taking addipex? maybe tmi?

so my doc has given me addipex because after having ailey and now a just about a year later i am still where i was 4 weeks after having her(i gained almost 80 pounds within 3 weeks of having her for no reason, i had lost 34 while preggers with her) so i have the not being able to sleep part of the pill, but i have come to relize that it is harder to go poop and was wondering if that is normal? i have also had my asthma come back since using it and have talked to the doc, and my mouth is always so dry, i was just wondering if it is normal?

i am also wondering how long you ladies have been or were on addipex? it has taken my appitie for food totally away i have to pretty much force myself to eat dinner and thats the only thing i really eat anymore

I have been on it for a month now.

I definitely don't go to the bathroom regularly anymore.

I took addipex on and off for about 6 months. I remember having cotton mouth, but I don't so much remember being constipated. I did loose a lot of weight though and yes! I agree you do have to force yourself to eat, but I still loved it! It gave me so much energy and I felt so productive! I would just try to take it first thing in the morning and I didn't have issues with sleeping. I would have continued to take it, but my insurance didn't cover it and it was over $50 a month! No can do! Good luck to you!

i was on it for 6 months and lost 60lbs then it stopped working and i stopped taking it.. and i have gained 10lbs in the last 2 months..

i only one meal a day also.. i cant force my self to eat..

i am planning on getting back on it later on..

i didnt have any problems pooping thu.. my only side affect was dry mouth.

they wont prescr. it in MS so i had to drive 2 hours and pay 85 dollars a month for it! but it was so worth it and i cant wait to take it again haha.

They have one in Hammond and one here in Baton Rouge.

thank you, i am trying to lose like 50 pounds maybe more, i work midnights, so that probley has something to do with it, but i sleep like 3 hours a day now, and that to me is just crazy, but i am so full of energy its unreal, i was reading things and they say that you are only supossed to take it for a couple weeks because it is an additive pill, i have only been on it for a couple days and my insurance dont cover it either, i pay around 42 a month for it, i just really hope it helps me lose the weight, we have tried alot of other things and i cant seem to shake this weight

lmao...no I live in BR...we have a weight loss clinic here about 30 minutes from my house.
I go there and pay $37 for the Dr's visit and $25 for the pills.

I got $10 off for being referred.

see i heard it was an additive pill like narcotics, we are justing trying it out that much i know because it has heart side effects and they want to make sure that my bp wont go up nor my heart rate, i am already on meds for them, i just dont want to be dependent or addited to them, and i dont want them to stop working either, and i cant afford to take them for months

my mouth is always super dry. I take antidepressants that make it dry and now it is even drier. The bathroom stuff is a lot like being pregnant. Either I don't go at all or I have diarrhea

here they give you a months worth and you go back for a check up then if you live with in 30 minutes of them they will only sell you a month supply at a time but if you live more then 30 minutes away they will sell you a2 month supply and give you a discount.. i think 2 months was 160 or 165.
