My Son Born Today 10/22 @ 29 Weeks (Pic)

Iam the happiest mommy on the planet and I thank God for blessing with a strong son!

My story is posted in pregnancy issues. "Water Broke, I'm 25 weeks"! For those who have followed my story, my son came today at 7:17am. He is a trooper and a God sent angel, doing so wellto be 29 weeks.

After 7 to 8 pushes, 12 minutes later he was here. We called everyone right before I started pushing,and they all thought they had time to arrive to the hospital. But I was done in 12 minutes. It was so funny. I couldn't feel a thing. He came out, and he was breathing on his own and has continued to do so all day without oxygen thus far.

I am so proud of him. All those mom and son talks in the womb and prayers worked!

Here is a picture. I got to hold him today, and tonight I changed his diaper. he pooped! Haven't even been here a full day, and already giving me shit! LOL I'm so happy and blessed!

Thank again for all the prayers! Can't wait til he can come home, but for now we are both in the hospital but I know Ill be released soon. At the rate he is going he may be home sooner than later.

Congrats momma!!! Never thought you'd be SO HAPPY to have a diaperfull of poopoop eh? Hehe. He's absolutely gorgeous! And I'm with you, I think he'll come home real soon he seems to be doing so well already!

Yes i been in the hospital since 25 weeks when the water broke! We went 4 weeks here to the day, and I guess he just decided it was time.

Drs say he breathes real well, and scored a 7/8 out of 10 on his birth test. They said his lungs are healthy as well!

He is too funny. The nurse was talking to me over him, and I guess she was too loud so he covered his ear! We were laughing. He is smiley baby too! I got a few clicks on the smiles on my moms camera. I have to ger hers developed.

They didnt say exactly when he would come home. But I will be here by his side, every day and night and I started pumping milk today. Of course its colstrum, so they freeze and start feeding it to him next week.

My nephew was 2lbs 7oz at 30 weeks and now he's a 9 year old boy with a fetish for fast cars, haha. And he likes spiderman and idolizes my husband and his dad, haha. He's such a tough kid. And I'm sure your son is just as tough and will grow up to be just as wild (good luck with that! hehe).

So, little ones (even tiny ones) are great fighters and its a miracle that your son is doing so well and breathing on his own and fighting so hard. Congratulations and you're in my thoughts!
