7 weeks pregnant and brown discharge?

last night after me and my fiance got into a huge fight i found brown discharge while wiping. i checked again this morning i didnt see it again.. it has not come back at all yet... is brown discharge in early pregnancy normal? what can i do to prevent a miscarriage? i'm so scared of having one. my next doc appt is coming up Oct. 28th.

Yes it is normal! As long as it is not bright red and accompanied by cramping you are going to be just fine.

I had the same thing at 6 weeks, brown blood = old blood. It's just making its way out.

You can't prevent miscarriage though. =/

My doc told me brown blood is old blood, probably left over in your body from before you got pregnant. I had some bleeding at 6 weeks, brown blood, and they did an emergency ultrasound and my little girl was just a wiggling in there, heart beating. Try not to worry!

brown is completely normal. I have been spotting brown for 2 weeks straight and my baby is still ok

ohh. well i hope i dont have one. idk if i will have more brown discharge but i had no cramping with it. although i do get cramping sometimes but the doctor said that was normal. i've been getting pains near my ovaries... and down near my vagina ..so. i assume that its my ligaments stretching.. bc i've had this pain before.

its normal it happened to me while i was in michigan...the reason it happened to me was bc it was around the time i shuld have had my period...it happend to me for about 2 months (first 2 missed periods)

I had the same symptoms and went to the ER, I guess I had a corpus luteum cyst, which is normal. That's what was 'causing my pain. With that they said that you may wipe and have blood from time to time. This is something that goes away on it's own. I was probably wiping a very tiny bit of blood from around 6 to 9 weeks. I haven't had any spotting for the last two weeks. It's something that is normal unless there is a lot of blood.
