I have been searching for months for the perfect stroller for my little one. I think I've finally found the perfect one by Everbright. However I can't seem to find any info on their products besides their own website and their ebay store. Does anyone have any info? Thanks!

Hey all!
I finally decided to take the plunge and buy the Everbright despite the fact that I couldn't see it in person or talk to anyone who bought one. I LOVE THIS STROLLER! It is exactly what I needed.
Pros:
-Seems VERY sturdy and well built.
-Huge rubber wheels. They include an air pump for the tires. This is definitely an all-terain stroller.
-Great breaking bars on front and rear.
-Smart looking. Looks like the super high end strollers.
-Priced well for features and quality. I paid $242 after shipping on ebay. The manufacturer sells on their website and on ebay.
-Nice fabric that will obviously wash well.
-Bed lays completely flat.
-Handle is reversible as well as adjustable in height/angle. This is one of the main things I was looking for. I LOVE this feature.
-Good storage.
-Everything adjusts every possible way... backrest, footrest, canopy, handle, etc
-Comes with a bassinet that fits perfectly into the stroller. Love it!
-Comes with a boot for cold weather.
Here are the few cons I can see so far:
-A bit heavy very bulky. This is not a compact stroller. Thankfully we have a Suburban. Could be tough with a small car.
-Wheels do not swivel. They are large rubber tires. So in order to turn you have to make a gradual turn or lift the front wheels and swivel.
-Awful assembly instructions and virtually no info on product use. The little booklet they sent was worthless. I had to figure most of it out on my own.
If anyone has any questions I would be happy to answer. I do not have any affiliation to Everbright, but I will tell every mom I know that this is a fantastic stroller to consider buying.

Hi there,
Thanks for the info on the Everbight stroller. I'm considering it too. How heavy is it, and do you find that weight is an issue? We don't have the baby yet and I'm not sure how much we'll find that the weight of a stroller is an important factor to consider.
Also, will it take a carseat?
thanks.
-soon-to-be dad looking for a nice ride.

I am a bad judge at weight. It is not a light stroller, but I am a small to average size woman, and I don't have a problem lifting it into our Suburban.
It takes a carseat quite well. I adjust the seat to the full recline position, and my Graco snugride carseat sits right in it. It is quite secure although is is not actually attached in anyway.
I would highly recommend this. Now that I've had a couple of weeks to really use it in many different situations (shopping, walking on sidewalks and rougher terrain) I like it even more!
Good luck!

Hi,
If you don't mind the weight of the stroller - very heavy, the front wheels do not swivel and it's difficult to turn corners. IMO it's a huge stroller, it's not one of those strollers you just throw in the back of your car, it's kind of a project. It's very large so if your planning on taking it shopping I'd definately rethink it. It would be difficult to move around a smaller area. If your planning on using it for long strolls around town, it's great.
So, if those things don't really bother you I'd say it's a really decent Pram for the money. The bassinet and fabric on the stroller seat very nice and wheels are awesome , it also comes w/a pump.
Hope this helps

The Everbright stroller weighs just under 40 lbs. We just bought a 2006 model a few days ago after two of my friends recommended it. But now I'm starting to worry about it not being easily maneuverable... :-(

Janka, if you're looking for what I think you're looking for, you might be interested in Peg Perego's Venezia stroller. It has all the same features, but only weighs 17 lbs and the wheels swivel! You can probably find a floor model to look at at any BRU store and then purchase an earlier model online. They are much cheaper and the only differene is the choice of colors. Otherwise the features between 2004 & 2004 are the same (according to the service rep at Perego).

I have been looking for a German stroller - like Teutonia. Does anyone know anything about them and where they can be bought here in the US. Also the Everbright looks like a great knock-off. However what about the quality? Also someone wrote they only paid $249 on ebay for it. I cannot find that price. Help?

Okay, so after using my Everbright for a couple of months I still like it, but I don't love it.
The maneuverability is a BIG issue. It is great for a walk outside, but it is AWFUL in the mall. It's so hard to turn in tight spaces. You have to tip it onto one end to swivel for tight turns. NO fun.
I love the other features of the stroller. Everything is well made. Baby seems quite comfy. It is missing a cup holder. And as much as the padding on the handles is comfy it doesn't seem like it will hold up that well. It is already tearing a little. Storage is a little bit of an issue. Ideally it's meant to store flat, but that takes up a lot of room in the garage. So I put it on it's side which is okay, but it's not meant for that. There is nothing to rest it on but the wheels (and they have a little thing that sticks out on the side).
So, I would say that I would still buy it again if my main concern was all-terrain situations, but I wouldn't buy it again for everyday use. I plan to get a nice umbrella stroller to use for shopping now that my baby is 9mo old. For the price it is a really nice stroller with a couple of design issues. It looks very high end. I get plenty of compliments from other moms on it.
Hope this is helpful to anyone out there shopping. Good luck!

Hi,
I recently returned my Everbright stroller after taking it for one test drive out with my son. It is a beautiful stroller, excellent quality, but even my strong 6' husband thought it was quote "a big horse" and was struggling to get it into the back of our Explorer. So I didn't feel so wimpy when I needed all the strength I could muster to lift it. I couldn't imagine that kind of workout every time I ran errands...I would think twice before stopping anywhere! Because of it's width, it's also hard to get a good grip anywhere on it for transporting. Folded down it kind of looks like a go cart, and takes up most of the back of the truck. The other problem I had with it (besides a defective wheel that kept falling off that we had to keep kicking back on) was that it was ridiculous to maneuver. I would never recommend this stroller for shopping because of the weight and fixed wheels. I had to struggle to manuever around people with big garden store shopping carts who had more steering capabilities than me, kind of embarassing. For specific purposes, like long outdoor excursions, it is a fantastic buy for the price. My son loved riding in it, when we weren't kicking the wheel back on and making his body jolt sideways. Kind of made the awesome suspension on it seem useless, as I watched my son's body being jolted around from our kicking, The company did offer to replace the wheel, apparently not too common of a problem, but I also wasn't the first to report it I was told. They had extra wheels ready to send out on demand for this particular problem.

I also bought the everbright stroller on ebay. Great stroller. I go walks with my baby on the ocean boardwalk and the stroller provides a very smooth ride. The baby feels no bumps because of the big wheels. The steering is not so good but it does not really matter to me because most of the walk is straight for me. I don't take it to the stores, etc. because I use a SnapNGo for that purpose. The stroller is very warm for winter. I also had a defective wheel that kept on falling off, but had the seller replace it few months ago and since than I had no problems. So far for this price, I am very pleased with the stroller.

Hi - I'm currently looking at the Everbright myself. Although I am interested in the Sonata EP3 (looks just like the Perego P3)...but SO much cheaper! I stumbled across this board looking for some reviews on it. Does anyone have any experience with purchasing-owning one of these?? They look so nice and only $159.95 and free shipping directly from Everbright.
So after reading the previous posts I wanted to throw out the BERTINI BIDWELL stroller for those looking for a "pram-like", comfy ride. I actually have one and it has 4-wheel steering so you can actually push it with 2 fingers if need be. It's about 40lbs. as well, has a huge comfy seat that can lay flat...it can face either direction and has the huge, air-filled tires.

I am new here. I have been on a stroller hunt for months and had finally decided on the Peg Perego P3 or A3. In the meantime, I ran across the Everbright Strollers too. I am interested in the Sonata EP1--but a little worried since there is no info about them out there. Has anyone purchased one that can give pros and cons? The feedback on eBay seems a little mixed but generally positive.
