Hook on "high chairs" ala Phil & Ted Me Too

Anyone use hook on high chairs? Do they marr your table? Is there any sort of padding or protection for your table from the clamps?

I don't own one, but wanted to say that zooper and chicco make them as well.

I looked on the chicco website, and they have the instructions for use of the high chair, and holy cow, there are a lot of safety cautions.

A few to note that were interesting:

-can't be used on a table with a pedestal base (like everyone's grandma's oak table)
-don't let animals or children around the chair while in use
-weight limit of 33lbs (so a lot of 18 month olds I know would be too heavy for it)

If anyone is still following this, I ended up getting a HandySitt...I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. For some reason, the past two weekends (only) on Amazon, they were discounted as much as 50%!!!!!! I got the beech with brushed stainless for $62! It retails for $99 (it is a premium finish due to the stainless), $10 more than the standard HandySitt chairs. I ended up getting a seatpad and the "standalone" attachment as well.

I love it so much. I would recommend it for a standard highchair, for those of you who don't want to buy a high chair and then a booster. As long as you child can sit up well, it will work (manufacturer recommends use from age 7 months and up...I think this is reasonable). It can be used all the way to age 4 1/2, per the manufacturer, and I believe that as well.

It is ultra modern looking, beautiful, elegant Scandinavian design, and made in Denmark. My 15 mo loves it. I wish I'd known about it 2 1/2 years ago when my older daughter was just going into the high chair.
