How do I post a pic from my album? I tried using photobucket but it makes my pictures way too big.

Well, its good to hear that they weren't in the nicu for too serious of reason. Riley had breathing issues when she was born. Her oxygen level just wasn't as high as it needed to be which caused her to breath really heavily. But she only had to stay for an extra day. Now we think she's got colic. She's been spitting up a lot more than usual and just keeps cryig....

How do you deal with 2 babies and a 7 yr old by yourself all the time? I have issues on mondays which is the only day i'm actually by myself with them. Luckily either my hubby or my mom is there with me the rest of the time.

When you post them on your post, they look really big when your typing, but when you actually post it, they're normal size. It does it to me too.

I have heard that they cry ALOT with colic, none of my babies have had that, so I have no experience with it. Are you breastfeeding??

Yeah after my hubby left the first time after the twins were born I was very nervous about being by myself with them and trying to get my 7 year old to school "on time". But you manage the best way you can, it's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Once we got on a schedule. I would much rather have him here but we do pretty good by ourselves. My mom lives about 3 miles from me so I take them by their when I need to go to the store. Thank goodness for my mom or I don't know what I would do!!

There CUTE.. and Kuddos to you for holding it all together while daddy is gone.. Good thing your Mom is close by I can't imagine trying to get out with 3 little ones.. Well 7 isn't that little but they still don't always listen at that age.. I have one heck of a time getting in and out of the car with Jamil and Quinton... The rest isn't so bad though... Until they both get cranky at the same time...

She doesn't cry a lot. Its just major fussiness for a couple hours. She just doesn't know what she wants. They are both on breastmilk, but Riley won't nurse. Since she had breathing probs at first, they had her on an IV, then feeding tube, then a bottle (they had me pumping in the hospital for her.) So i finally tried to nurse her after 4 days. She would for a lil while, but by the end of the first week, she was so tired of working for her food she would just start screaming as soon as i tried to nurse her. After 2 days of no sleep and her screaming constantly i had a lil nervous break-down. I gave in and finally just pumped and gave her a bottle. Now she's a happy camper. She is just very impatient. When she wakes up, she expects her bottle right then and there. Sometimes she screams so much for it, we give it to her cold. she doesn't seem to mind.

I'm sorta glad that i dont have any other children. Its hard enough to deal with the two of them. its going to be prolly 4 years before we try for more. even though everyone keeps saying that since we have a boy and girl that we should be done and we're crazy for wanting more. but i want a good sized family. at least 4 (depending on how the next preg. goes). By the way, i'm beth. Who are you guys?

I would love to join too... My twins Drake and Kera were born May 1, 2008 at 33 weeks... I went to my doc appointment, and told her I was having a few BH contractions she checked me and I was 3 cm dilated, she sent me to my specialist at another hospital (where there was a level 3 nicu just in case) ... when I got to the other hospital 45 mins later, he checked me and I was 5/6cm dilated. 1 hour later I had a c-section. My son Drake had to have the oxygen hood for 24 hours, my daughter was breathing fine. They spent 22 days in the NICU. They weighed 4lbs 12oz...

Jamil had some serious fussiness for a few weeks.. It started around the end of week 3, week 5,6,7 we're really really hard.. It got a bit better from there... Sometimes the only thing to keep him from crying was to walk around the block over and over again, until he was asleep...

I really thought he had colic, My doctor said it really doesn't matter if he does or not because nothing changes but the fact that you have a name for the reason there crying..

He was a different baby by 3 months old... He still had his moments, but they we're few and far between...

Also... Pumped milk can be out for up to 7/8 hours So if your pumping on a regular schedule you can just keep the milk out from the previous session so you always have room temperature milk on hand for a feeding.... I was pumping a lot for a while and Jamil wouldn't drink milk that had been refrigerated and warmed... Or frozen... I talked to the lactation consultant about it and she said room temp milk actually had less bacteria than the milk that had been refrigerated.

I go back and fourth as far as how long I want to wait for another.. It's really up to DH... but I really thought I was ready for another until I started babysitting.. Now I'm SO glad I only have Jamil right now.. and at times I wish I could wait until he's much older to try again, and other times I can't imagine waiting that long...

I tried to b/f but I just wasn't producing enough, so I finally give up.

It's funny because Clay is very demanding and he expects his bottle to be ready when he wakes up, but Blake is just kind of laid back.

I think that's it for us in the baby making department. I would love to have a little girl in the house, but I think 3 boys is plenty enough for me to handle. Even if we tried I bet it would be another boy, which would of course be ok, but I am content with my 3 boys. My name is Kristy by the way and it's nice to meet all of you twin mommies!!
