HOLY CRAP!

So I went to the Dr. today and im 39 weeks. I havent dialated or thinned out any more since my very first weekly app. So the dr left the room and made a few calls, came back and said to be at L&D at 6:00 this morning to be induced! OMG im so scared I woke up and couldnt go back to sleep!Just 2 hours till I have to leave cause it takesa little while to get to the hospital!! Wish me luck ill post a labor story and tons of pics as soon as I get home. Talk to you guys soon!!!

They must do things very differently in the USA than in Canada. They don't just induce if your not dialated.. they wait till your overdue unless something is wrong and you need to be induced. Weird!

Yeah Thats what I thought but he said that I would be okay and so would the baby, He told me that I would most likely never go into labor on my own, my baby is ready but my body isnt doing enough to help her out

Ohhh okay I thought he was just going to do it because.. i've seen a lot of women on here who are getting induced like a week before their due dates and im like whaaa why!? lol

Keep in mind that those contractions you get when you're induced can be way worse than regular ones. Don't try to be a hero, if the pain gets too bad, take the drugs!

Lol thank you!! And oh dont worry ive been a big baby so far with those little tiny contractions so I think im going to be screaming GIVE THE THE DRUGS before they even break my water lol
