yesterday..the day from hell **vent**

Yesterday I woke up (big mistake..lol) got ready for the day..ate breakfast and I get a text msg saying the Mom of the little boy I watch got fired which means I have no job. YAY...not..I was pissed bcuz she said she def. had a job for another month. (Being pregnant I was kinda depending on getting 4 more checks from her..grrrr)
Then I was suppose to go to the cardiologist at 1pm bcuz when i was in the hospital Thursday they found fluid around my heart. Well the receptionist calls an hour b4 my appt saying that I cant go in bcuz the referral from the hospital isnt the right referral that i need one from a reg. Dr. Well I called my OB and said I dnt have a reg. Dr. so i asked if theyd get me a referral and she said she would! So she calls and tells the cardiologist that she is faxing thema referral for me. THEY WONT TAKE THAT REFERRAL!! So I call my insurance and tell them all that had been goin on and they tell the cardiologists office that since I am pregnant that my OB is my reg. Dr. so they HAVE to take the referral. SO finally I have my new appt w/ the cardiologist set for Friday at 9am! I ended up going to a reg. Dr. last night just so i have one now so there isnt more BS to come about me not having a reg. Dr. well........the reg. Dr. says i need a ultrasound of my thyroid bcuz he says its VERY enlarged and could be cancer.. WOOO HOOO my day yesterday was fucking awesome....thanks for reading my vent

omg.. so you ahve fluid around your heart and an enlarged thyroid?! awww i hope everything turns out okay!
enlarged thyroid doesn't ALWAYS mean cancer though. it could mean allot of things.

No, enlarged thyroids don't always mean cancer. My mom has one, and she has an ultrasound on it every 6 months just to watch it.

I had to have an ultrasound of my neck because my glands were so swollen and they were sure it was cancer. Well I was also pregnant at the time so the doctor made the tech check on the baby. Well I was BARELY pregnant maybe like 6 weeks? Hadn't even seen the baby yet. I ended up seeing Haylie before I was supposed to.
Ended up not having cancer, I hope it's the same for you! You should take a bubblebath and just relax!!
