i posted earlier about thinking about relocating to chicago to be closer to my family...

and now here i am just off the phone with my mom, she says she is done with her bf (thank God. he treated her like hired help)

i think she may be coming to stay/live with me.
its hard to really help people understand how my mom is.. very hard working, and willing to take just about any job to make a living (has been helping with construction lately) and has been through some really tough times.

well, she doesnt have much.. just clothes off her back and whatnot. everything else was the bfs.

so tomorrow she is going to do some craigslist searching for jobs here and look into a bus ticket to come here.

she is in iowa.

i cannot describe to you ladies how relieved this makes me.
with her working and contributing to bills i just may be able to keep at it.

im tellin ya the universe is working with me today. somehow.

long story- bear with me. lol

my dad and mom moved out here when i was about 8. to get away from their lives in chicago.. my dad was selling drugs and wanted out.

my parents split up and i moved with my mom all over the place, ending up in AZ for most of my school age life.

then my mom went crazy and started doing crazy drugs making her crazy and schizophrenic. we lost our apartment and she lost her job so i moved back up here with my dad my senior year of HS.

i have been here ever since, and my mom has done great, but now lives in iowa with her bf and his 3 kids.

my dad and i never really had a good relationship. were never close and never talked really. his new wife is great, but doesnt seem to care at all about me of my daughter. she didnt bother coming to avas birthday party. (no one in my family got her a gift)



but i got a call from my mom today saying that she cant leave her bf and blah blah blah..
so im actually back to square one.

but its pretty common for my mom. i dont know why i got my hopes up in the first place.

i think im still going to try and move back in like 10 months when my lease is up.

Oh wow, I am sorryfor all the chaos and about your mom changing her mind. I hope she comes to her senses and wises up tot he guy! I am sorry that nobody got sweet Ava a b-day gift, that makes me sad!
