1cm! Woo hoo!!! (36 weeks) Other Nov. mommy progress??

OK, so I know that it doesn't REALLY mean anything, but it was still exciting!!! It makes me feel like she is just around the corner and not a million miles away. Also that all those contractions weren't completely useless.

I also found out that she is finally head down and she has definately dropped.

On a personal note: My husband finally took a couple pictures of me today, and I want to take a few more. I can imagine if you don't take any toward the end of pregnancy you would look back on it and feel stupid about it. (ugh I just got so crampy and nauseous...) heh, typical right?... well here's one:


Funny story: I was sitting on the couch with my husband today and we were talking about the baby and labor etc. and he all of a sudden got really quiet while flipping through the "What to Expect" book, and I asked what was up. His brow furrowed and his eyes went wide, and he says: "How do I know when to call 911 if we have to deliver at home???" I said: "What???" He showed me he was reading that section of the book and it doesn't mention WHEN exactly you should call, and he FREAKED OUT! I have NO idea why he thinks we would be in that kind of a situation........ we live literally 5 blocks from a hospital! heh.

Boys are funny.

Cool cool! I was 2cm at 35w1d, 3cm at 36w and I'm interested in seeing if I've made any progress at tomorrow's 37 week visit. I'm also measuring 4 weeks ahead. I'm disappointed that I'm still preggers since I had DS at 36w6d and it would have been neat to have DD today at 36w6d. My ob has assured me I'm not going to make it to my c/s date on the 28th but then again, she didn't think I'd still be preggers at LAST week's appt so I'm taking everything with a grain of salt...

men are so silly...reassure him that if all fails you will call 911 yourself.. I like the photo its so earthy

Well, at least you won't have to worry about being really late!!! I am glad I have made it this long and that I'm not too far dilated. I have a weird digestive condition that puts me at high risk for early labor. So woo hoo for not having babies too early, but having both babies at the same gestation would have been neat!

Haha thanks! Yeah, I told him I would TELL him when to call. haha.

Regardless of what happens, she'll for sure be here by 10/28. My c/s is scheduled for that day (I had an emergency c/s with DS and don't want to go thru that again)
