Baby poop?

What does "normal" baby poop look like for a 2 week old? Our son poops about every other day and its like 3 diapers full,and I have to sit and wait for it all to come out. Its like lime green and the texture is almost like silly puddy. And it comes out in a long tube. We just wanna make sure its normal since we have no clue. His pedi said as long as its not "hard". Oh and his little face turns beet red and he grunts.....thanks!!!

normal lol, gross but normal... i asked the pedi today actaully lol

Are you formula feeding?

i BFed and hers were always really loose

If you are formula feeding that sounds normal. My daughter's poops were like that, too. If they are so hard that they get stuck, or come out like little pellets, than he is constipated. If he get's constipated call your pedi and they'll tell you what they want you to do (usually karo syrup or juice).

That is what my son's looks like and for our daughter the pedi also recommended karo.

That sounds normal for a formula fed baby, I wouldn't worry

Yes, im formula feeding. This poop is the weirdest thing ive ever seen. I have to take his diaper off and help him poop, by wiping his little butthole, it helps the rest come out.....

baby poop comes in all colors and textures. Piper's can be blue and green mixed w/ certain formula

Ava's 3 weeks now....formula fed also... her poop looks like that too (the silly putty, tube-like stuff going on) but hers is like an orange-ish color... apparently it's normal....

she makes funny faces when she's doing #2 though...but there was this one time when Mike was changing her and she wasn't quite done.... he ended up using 3 daipers... THEN she PEED on him! LMAO It was hilarious!
