im 3 wks pp and I WANT SEX! ugh reallll bad gosh!! how long do u REALLLLY have to wait lol ill at least wait til im not soar no more and i dont hink i am but ill give it a wk or two but gosh i want it! ugh!

I thought it was 2 months.
But if you're not sore or anything, I don't see the problem.

My OB told me to wait until after I had my 6 week check up~ w/ my daughter it was only 4, but I did have some problems this time~ I guess I'm not going to take any chances of infection

I feel ya! Im 2 weeks pp and am dying for it. I tore and had an episiotomy so I have stitches. I heard you HAVE to wait if you have stitches. Hopefully you dont and can go get some lol

I would wait the recommended 6 weeks. You're still healing & you could get a serious infection from it since your cervix doesn't fully close until 6 weeks PP.

With my first I had stitches so I waited until they were dissolved at 4 weeks. This time I had sex at two weeks because I wasn't sore and didn't have any stitches. As long as you are feeling ok and take it slow at first it's fine. Just make sure and use protection since you are very fertile after giving birth.

It better to wait until after your 6weeks pp check. There is a risk of infection plus you're very fertile now...

lol i didnt tear at all so thats y im not soar anymore i think im still bleeding but ill wait till taht stops to do anything haha

i waited a little over 4 weeks and i had an episiotomy i healed reAlly fast .

I had an episiotomy & was only sore for a week, I am now 2 weeksPP & have stopped bleeding, they recommend waiting due to risk of infection~ not because of how you feel.
