Mama's who took out their belly rings...

I'm just wondering for those of you post-preggo mama's that took out your belly button rings, we're you able to get them back in after? And if not, how did the hole heal??

I have mine in still, but logic (and everyone else!) is telling me it's time to take it out, so I was just wondering what the chances were of getting it back in after our little monkey get's here?

I have maternity belly rings they are longer and flexible I don't wanna take out my ring cause then the holes look stupid

Eeeh I could've but now it been about a yr since I took it out and it is very tight, I tried to put it back in but for some reason it started itching and getting swollen. Plus not all rings look good because my skin is a bit stretched.

I tried those and it made the hole reallllly irritated for some reason so I put the other one back in...  

i took mine out a while ago...(before i even got pregnant i think) and every once in a while i stick the ring back through just to make sure its not closed. i just dont want it in right now, but probably will want it back one day.

i got my belly button pierced 2 years ago and after i was 5 months prego i stopped wearing one and the hole hast closed and now i wear it again

I took mine out around 25 weeks. I still have a hole there but I'm not sure a ring would go in. Plus my skin by the hole is totally stetched out and looks weird. I don't think I'm putting mine back in.

Hmm, then I would just put it in every once in awhile and then take it right out just to keep the hole open

with my 1st I took it out around 36w and had him at 36w6d. Put it back in a week later (just had to repierce the top). I just took mine out this time around at 36w2d. I'll prolly have to repierce the top again this time around as well...hoping I go soon! I was 3cm last week...hoping to be 4+ tomorrow at my 37w appt!

I took mine out and didn't wear one for like a good 6 months or so,but I was able to stick a ring back in no problem. I had it 3 years before I got preggers

I took mine out around the 32nd week. I used to put it in for a few hours a day once a week. After I had her I put it back in and have had it in since.

i think if you have it pierced for more than a year and then u take it off for a coulple of months youll be ok...have u thought of getting a pregnancy ring??

I've had it pierced for almost 9 years (gawd that makes me feel old...   *LOL*) So hopefully if I stick it in every now and then it will atleast stop it from closing up...!

Rach, that is what I'm worried about too! It's already pulling a little on either side, so I can just imagine what it's going to look like in a few months!   *LOL*
