2 weeks after my d & c?????

I was just wondering how long it takes usually for you levels to dropp after a m/c.   I had a d & c done Sept 29th and we have been ttc since the bleeding stopped on Oct 7th i decied to take a hpt just to see if it was neg.  to see if my levels are down and its a really faint line so im guessing that there is still some hormone in me yet ...but a littl e bit of my hopes im pregant but im guessing even if we did get preegant it would be to early for it to show up
Im jsut wondering if anyone got pregant right away or  its just my hormone levels with im sure it is from the last pregancy but im jsut wondering what eveyone esle went threw

How far along were you? That kind of determines on how long your hormone level will be up.

10 weeks but it was a missed m/c i lost the baby at 5 weeks 4 days but my body still thought it was pregant into the 10th week i never started bleeding

Then I would say probably almost a full 6 wks for your hormone levels to drop. Just to be on the safe side.

i just had one of those too about 3 weeks ago.
they shouldve already gone down
when they suspected a missed miscarriage i got blood drawn and they were already dropping. so they should be back to normal by now. i got the pills and i was 8wk 4d.

And I know you've probably heard this before and it sounds redundant, but I'm sorry that happened.

This is way OT.
My doctor was saying I may have had a miscarriage because I had a lot of pain that I think was a cyst rupturing a few days ago. I had cold sweats, pain like you wouldn't believe, nausea, dizziness, faintness... but no blood.
You seriously didn't bleed?
Does any of this sound familiar??
Oh, and I tested and all the tests came up with no answer (and yeah, I read the directions right lol).
They're getting me in Wednesday, and that's fast for my doctor.

they did draw blood but it sucks becaseu they never told me my levels the whole time  i never knew if they were up down or what

oh i think theyre sopposed to because when i went for my last u/s they showed me my results and they did drop half way. thats when we knew it was a missed m/c
you should call your doc. and ask to be sure.

i go on wed for my follow up from my d & c so im going to ask him the for sure

when i went for my follow up they made me take a pregnacy test to make sure its negative.
i dont know if there going to do that to you since you got a d&c.
with the d&c did you have pain?
because with the pills iw as in pain real bad.  

hey i had something similar to you, im sorry i cant offer any advice about your levels as i was never told mine either but i had a D&C a month ago after having found out there was no baby in junebut my body still thought it was pregnant and i still had the sac and everything, anyways i had no bleeding what so ever and my doc i think made a mistake in telling me i didnt need a d&c, but 4 months last i was in severe pain and it was the sac being infected and i had to have the D&C then. Anyways maybe your body hasnt registered and levels havent completly dropped yet but ill secrtly keep my fingers crosseor the other answer! I just wanted to write to you as i am trying to conceive for the first time this month since the D&C so fingers crossed we may be due date buddies!

I d & c itself didnt hurt but after for about 1 weeks i had HORRIBLE cramps that ibprofin wouldnt touch and i passed some tissue that i thought they we suppose to get all out of me  but yes my cramps and lower back hurt  really bad
