how did you feel the day before...

you went into labor? did you have any clue you were going into labor, no idea at all? what symptoms did you have? also for those that water broke, did you know you're water was about to break?

I felt *off* the day before I went into labor. Just kinda restless, like I couldn't find a comfy way to sit, didn't really wanna sit still, and absolutely HAD to make chocolate cookies (which for the first time in my life did not get overcooked and hard). I went to work the next day, and went in to labor trying to clock in. Water never broke naturally, doc busted it both times.

Two days before I just felt dizzy/unsettled..anxious nervous, I didnt feel like I could calm down or rest
About an hour before I noticed I was in labor...I had what I thought were gas pains...but now looking back I know they were real contractions just very mild
And once I did notice the contractions...I had no idea my water was going to break I just felt a pop or a kick and that was it!

With my first I slept all day the day I went into labor. With my second I had been having tons of contractions for weeks on end and just knew when I started having them that night that I was going to have a baby soon. With my third I was induced so didnt feel any different. I am going to go into natural labor this time, unless I go over due, I didnt like being induced.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I remember just feeling different the day that I went into labor. So now I keep thinking to myself do I feel weird today? Like I'm trying to make myself believe I'm going to go into labor today.

with my daughter, i felt like crap the whole week. i thought it was a slight flu. i continued working though. the day before i had her, i was at work, leaned over the counter talking to my boss and she made the comment "thats it youre not on schedule next week cause youre having this baby tonight!" anyway, the next day, we woke up at 8am, i was in pain and said we better go to dr. my appt was at 11 and he said i was 2cm and 80%. he suggested going home and wait it out til it was unbearable, then go to hospital. so, we left for hospital around 1pm, checked in at 1:30. i had her at 8pm.

with my son, he stopped moving. i was told to go to l&d by my dr. we got there about 7pm. i was 2.5cm and 90%. the nurse stretched me to 3cm so i could stay. contractions really didnt come until 9pmish. they had to give me pitocin cause i wasnt making progress....at 4:30am i started pushing, he was born at 4:47am.

they say each labor gets shorter, but i dunno. my first was 12 hrs, second was 9 hrs. i have a feeling this one will be just as long!

I hear each labor is shorter also. But this time around I feel like I have longer pre labor.

Did anyone feel like they were getting a cold before they went into labor. I feel like I'm getting a head cold out of no where today. Hoping it was a sign, but I think anything could be a sign labor is coming.

i did with my first. with my second all that was wrong was a sore throat, but that went away as soon as i left the hospital.

then again, it could be change of weather

Well I thought that too cuz we have been sleeping with the windows open at night. But really its not cold night air. So who knows. Maybe its a sign. LOL! Come on Labor!!!

i heard that too. i've been feeling like i'm getting a cold for a few days now

I am for sure getting a cold. I can't stop sneezing and blowing my nose. I don't want to feel this way when I go into labor. Hope it goes away when labor starts.

yup, i know how ya feel. i've been sneezing for 3 days and my nose just runs and runs
