True Life: I have a husband in Iraq

I'm watching it on mtv.com and the girls on it are unbelievable.

Especially the second girl, Ketsy. She got married at 19 and then her husband was deployed for a year. she said that since he left not too long after they got married, she feels that her marriage isn't "legit" and she's "taking advantage of him being gone" and going out partying and acting like a whore. She doesn't have a job or go to school. she just hangs out and parties.

People like her give military wives a bad name. And unfortunately, I've known people like her, and it makes me mad because there are girls out there that really love their husbands and would do anything for them.

Thats sad. I wasn't married I was dating guy for 5 yrs and he went overseas to afgan after we had been together for 2yrs. and was there for 2yrs. I couldn't have imagined cheating on him. I never cheated or partied. Thats bullshit

I don't have TV.   So, I can't watch it. But, I have friends who has husbands in Iraq. And, not one of them "take advantage of them being gone." They're always saying they can't wait until they get back home, etc. I give military wives major props because I can't imagine how hard it is. But, girls like that are ridiculous in my opinion.

i know someone like that. she slept around and got pregnant with some other guy.well out of the blue one day she received divorce papers in the mail. she was pissed because she didnt work just collected his money. people like that make me sick. although my cousin was there an cheated(with a girl of course) on his fiance.

you totally right in the aspect that those types of bitches give us all a bad name   i actually had trust issues with brian when he was deployed. he had that idea, of wifes cheating on there husbands, and became vulnerable to the idea that that was what i was doing. it was hard, but we got through it, him and i both know neither would do that to the other.

I hate wives like that. They shouldn't even give them the satisfaction of being on TV. Being a military wife is HARD, but my wonderful hubby is worth every bit of hardship we go through because of him being in the military. I don't know how these women can even look themselves in the mirror after cheating on their husband while he is deployed. Mine was gone for 15 months and they were the worst, longest 15months of my life. I couldn't even look at another guy like that. Unfortunately there is a lot of cheating that goes on. The sad thing is that they knew what they were getting into by marrying a military man. That is part of it.

Seriously girls! So I am still watching it and she was talking to her husband online and saying that on her birthday she's going out inviting whoever she wants, drinking how much she wants, and dancing with whoever she wants. And he was kinda like, "Ok, it's your birthday..." and she's like telling the camera that it made her mad that he wasn't jealous so she's gonna go crazy and try and get a reaction out of him.

It makes me soooo mad!

But the first girl on the show, they're in 29 palms and it's kind of bittersweet for me to watch. i lived there for almost two years and have some really bad and some really awesome memories.

What?! Make him jealous? It's not like they're dating anymore. They're MARRIED! The boyfriend/girlfriend games end as soon as they say "I do."

Its shit like that that gets people killed over there. Those guys dont need to be worried about what there crazy wives are doing back home, they need to be concentrating on the missions and keeping there eyes open for crazy shit. I hope those bitches on that show rot in hell.
