please help??? what do I do????

Please help??I got my nails done and never do and today i was running after the baby and my whole nail came off, only on one side. It hurts super bad and is barley holding on. what do i do. Its not bleeding no more but hurts bad. WHAT DO I DO???
What will happen? should I go to the er?????

u want to kill youself because u ripped half your nail off?!?! put a band-aid over it & if it gets infected then u go to the doctor.

about all you can do is put a bandaid on it, to prevent it from ripping the rest of the way off. when the 'sore' heals, soak it in acetone nail polish remover and the fake nail will basically fall off with little effort.

i used to get my nails done, but because of that reason, not anymore  

i would go get checked out.....

this happened to me a few years ago. pour some peroxide on it....i know it will hurt but you dont want it to get infected. i just put a bandaid over it and waited until i could take the other half of the artificial nail off without it hurting. i suppose you could take some tylenol, but it will hurt. you dont need to go to the er

Wrap it up to keep it from ripping off or go into an urgent care and have them remove it. I've lost a finger nail before they grow back in a few months.

that happened to my best friend twice....all you really can do is put a band aid over it...her real nail eventually fell off in a few days...but if yours doesn't or you start to notice an infection than you should definately go see your regular doctor
