why would she do this?

I finally thought it was time to grow up, so i moved in with my fiance, and i am Happy, but my mom hates me now and i can't take it all i can do is think about how she wouldn't tell me she loved me when i was walking out today. I know she think she is losing me and Kurt but i will be there atleast every other day! I only live 15min away now and im sure i will see her. My dad started crying then i did he has never acted like he loved me not once i know he did but he couldn't show it. So when i was leaving he told me he loved me and i left i cried the whole way back home! I don't know what to do im 20years old should i live on my own and be with the childs father my mom said it is stupid i should have left before he came...What should i do i mean i love my mom and dont wanna hurt her but i need whats best for my child!

Did i do the right thing?

you're 20 and your mom is freaking out about you leaving home? i left home at 17! You did the right thing...it's your life, not your moms. You are starting your own family...just thank your mom for doing such a good job raising you that you are able to make your own life...maybe she will warm up more when she knows she did her job as a mom.

Cant live at home your whole life ... She'll come around I'm sure. Give it time.

Um... no one on here can tell you if you did the right thing. But if you think it's the right thing, that's all that matters. And yes, 20 years old is a reasonable age to move out of the house. I moved out when I was 18 and I'm happy. I'm sure your mom will come around...

I know she will come around but it hurts knowing she is mad at me we are so close WE TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING and i do mean everything so it is hard right now!
