Scary!

Ok so friday night i was getting ready to take my son to chuckie cheese when i asked his aunt (12 years old) to watch him on my bed for a min while i took my clothes out of the hamper so i turned my head for a min and when i turn to look at her all i see is my son falling off the 40in bed bam to the fllor head first i almost died i ran to him and grab him and he started passing out on me i got so scared that i ran him to the ER when we got there i waited about an hour be4 they attented us and finnally the doctor comes in the room she say well since hes a baby and cant explaion what hes feeling i have to do him a Catscan we usally dont do this on babies becase there is side effects and i ask what kind she says later in life they can develop canser omg i got so worried i wanted to cry well i did  cry!!!
    So about 20 minz go by and he falls asleep when the doctor comes in to walk us down to the catscan place and hes knocked out so the nurses wanna see if he can wake up when they tried to get him up and he would i just cryed prayed to god to please let my son be ok and cryed so he was still asleep and they layed him in the catscan machine boy did i cry seeing him all wrap in a bed and i cant even hold him i just broke down!
   So finally the doctor comes in with the results and hes fine but boy was i soo scared!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'll bet..that is frightening! But don't worry too much about the catscan...I've had 2 myself (cancer free) and I'm a nurse and have NEVER heard that it can cause cancer.

omg, thank god he's okay. & what a careless 12 year old, that's more then old enough to watch a baby on a bed for 5 minutes. It's not like she had to feed him or change him or even be alone with him. I hope you smacked her.

  Ugh i was so pissed she a sister in law so her brother got her good!

I am so sorry you had to go through that. I am so glad that your son is okay. You are such a good and responsible mom, you didn't waste anytime. Good job handling yourself under pressure.

Ugh, I'd beat her like a red headed step child.

I would have brought her to the hospital to see what he was put through because of her carelessness.

She should be taught a lesson. To laugh at someone's pain is not going to be a good look for her in about 10 years.

Yeah i run everytime my son has a cols or a cough or anything i think i the Er people know me by heart already i take him for everything just to be sure!
