Wanted to share =)

I have a homemade face mask recipe for dry or normal skin that works WONDERS. Just thought I'd share it  
You'll need:
-1/4 cup honey
-1/2 a very ripe avocado

Heat honey in microwave for 15-20 seconds, or until slightly runny and mildly warm. Mash the avocado very well (I use a potato masher or the back of a spoon) and mix with warm honey. Apply to face and leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse.

I was given this recipe by a woman who works at a spa a few years ago, and have been doing it once or twice weekly ever since. In fact, I just barely got done doing one. It makes your skin feel awesome! If you have a sunburn or if your skin is super chapped (from wind and/or dry weather), just mix in a fair amount of aloe vera gel with the above ingredients, and you'll notice a huge difference. Just thought I'd share

ETA: I've heard lemon is really good for acne, and making a paste of honey & orange juice, and add in some baking soda if you need a little more thickness, works really well as a spot treatment.

Yup! She (the lady at the spa) told me about those ingredients, too. Luckily, I don't get much ance these days. Now that the weather is getting cold and dry (and I'm almost always in a room with the super drying heater turned on), my skin is needing some TLC. Let me know how you like the avocado-honey mask

I totally forgot my list today when I went to the store.   I'll have to pick some up tomorrow. I have to go do a few errands, so I will try & stop in there & grab one or two.
