Medicaid question

I'm on medicaid and I was sitting here talking to my brother and he asked me how much does of the medical cost does medicaid cover. Don't they cover everything? That's what I was lead to believe

everything. but if you are hospitalized for less that 24 hours (observation), I mean fully admitted not the ER then they will not cover it.. . . Found that out when they admitted my daughter for less than 24 hours and we were short by 30 mins of a 24 hour period. ugh

i was in the hospital for 5 days (i had a c-section) and my "bill" was over 15,000 and it covered it all! thank god!

I was pissed . . . seriously i learned to push for that extra 30 minutes the respiratory care was what was bad on the pocket book

He's pissing me off...he's not believing they cover everything!!  

i had medicaid for my first son, and they covered all doctors visits, and my entire hospital stay/c section when i had him.

Where I'm from medicaid covers everything except circumcision

I'm sure there is some off the wall stuff they wont cover but the generall necessities they do. . .. Shanda is right circumcision is not covered

I'm having a girl..sooo...no worries!! lol!!   I've been trying to tell him that they've covered all of my unexpected doctor visits so far...but he thinks I'm gonna have to pay back like 5 thousand dollars..HE'S NOT LISTENING!!!!

he is a man unless he needs it he wont listen.... I never had to pay back anything, only had to pay the hospital when medicaid didn't cover her 23.5 hour stay in the hospital

almost 6years ago i gave birth and I was on medicaid and they paid for the circumcision I thought it was a goverment thing not a state thing. IDK anything I guess hahaha.

IDK if it's the same, but Medical will either cover the whole shabang or do a co-pay.
When I had my m/c a few years ago, i had a co-pay of 6K!
I had no money... they were trippin!
