Tiny Children in Halloween Stores?

posted 11th Oct
I have absolutely no problem with people bringing their children in with them to Halloween stores **IF** their child is okay.... if they are scared and crying, then LEAVE. Don't torture the poor thing. The other day I brought my little sister along with me to look at costumes for my son. My son was with my mother napping at her house. Well, these two women come in with their children. A couple of the kids are older... around 8-9. But there were two that were small. One appeared to be just over a year. He was still in the tottering stage of just having learned to walk. The other was a little girl who was probably 2. Well the 2 younger ones are screaming and crying and trying to hide behind their mothers legs. Their moms were pushing them off and one even had the nerve to say "If you don't stop crying I'm going to take you outside to the van and you'll stay there until you can stop acting up." EXCUSE ME? Acting up?... he is TINY AND FRIGHTENED! There are crazy Halloween props that he isn't used to and they aren't comforting in the slightest. I looked at my sister and was like "yeah, I dare that bitch to take her child and leave him outside." Not to mention this child was so young I'm sure he didn't understand her telling him to "stop acting up." My heart ached for those two little ones. Honestly, I think they should have just wrapped up their shopping..... No Halloween costume is important enough to scare the life out of my son. Just goes to show where their priority was.

I would have been upset, too. Just a couple of days ago, in a neighborhood where I used to work, there was a 2 week old baby found in their car seat, still strapped in and all, in an alley. Apparently the teen parents were seen arguing earlier in the alley. Thankfully a person driving by saw the baby (& it was lightly raining that day) and called 911. It makes me want to vomit.

My sister in law showed my son a scary Halloween decoration when he was about 2 and he cried and was shaking and all her and my husbands brother did was laugh. It made me so mad. Their kids were right there watching and they started laughing too.
Some people just have no clue
