Stretch Marks Itching Question

Hi all -
I'm 37 weeks and just developed my first stretch marks on my lower belly. They have started to itch like crazy and today I have noticed they have a 3d texture to them with tiny bumps. When I get a mirror to look at them it almost looks like poison oak or something or some kind of rash but it is only on the place with the stretch marks!
Is this normal? what the heck is going on?!

Say hello to PUPPPS..... they are not fun, don't itch them, and see your OB and get something for them soon... Good luck

I havent gotten any stretch marks on my stomach yet but my boobs have increased in size and I get a red rash thing on my chest that is very itchy. Could this be the same thing??

This makes since. My Dr. actually mentioned this to me a few weeks ago because I was having some itching .. but those bumps faded away.. You really think it would just appear in these stretch marks area? I mean it is an insane itch!!!!

yup don't itch... I had them for WEEKS before the stupid military docs would do something... Mine had spread to my thighs by then....   It was terrible...

So stupid question probably but why cant I itch? Will it make it worse? and if I cant itch, what the heck can I do to relieve this????

Huh... how interesting. I never heard of PUPPS before! It looks horrible & painful!

Will make it worse... don't itch I know it's hard but don't do it! LOL, try hydrocoritzone cream or anti itch lotion...

Sarna is a GREAT anti-itch lotion. You have to ask for it at the pharmacy because they keep it behind the counter. Not sure if it's safe during pregnancy, so you'll want to ask first.
