Need help on a choice

I can either get a laptop or a LCD Flat screen TV.
One requires me to use the money I ahve been saving and the other not so much.
W/ the laptop I get it then and there and have to use my savings. (700)
But w/ the LCD tv I have to wait another couple of weeks and pay for it cash (2100)
Which one would be the best....
I can use the TV as a computer monitor.........
so what do u think

For that price I don't think the laptop will last you as long as the TV but then again, it's only a fraction of the price..

Depends on which one you need the most?

id get the TV then if it can be a monitor too.

I have 2 comps. I dont really need either. I dont feel right about spending the money

Well if you already have computers then the TV for sure!

Just make it an "early Xmas" gift.. And besides, the whole family can use it..

True. But my anniversary is coming up on friday I believe   and my 21st B-day on the 30th of Nov. so it could be for anything
